We used the ferry daily from Rock during our stay in St Minver and some how ended up in The Mariners on our return. The bar area is spacious clean with sky tv that showed sports if that’s your thing. We visited on three occasions...More

it was very quiet as you would expect on a Tuesday lunchtime in November - but with soft music playing and the warmth of the service we were made to feel special. Other diners arrived and spaced well apart - always a sign of a...More

Kidneys to start, cooked perfectly. 3 of us had the same main - a big chunk of brill with buttery onions and some sides - really good. Service excellent. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Honestly one of the more memorable meals I’ve had recently.

We enjoyed our food but thought that it didn’t have the wow factor associated with Nathan Outlaw. The service was fine as was the ambience, but there are other restaurants to try.

Visited on 22/10/18, found choices limited, very expensive and service was rushed. Visited the Dinning Room in Rock on 24/10/2018, found everything better, Price, Service and attention to details would definitely recommend, best meal out in years and set in a lovely environment.
