We really wanted to love this place but we had a terrible experience. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. No problem. We enjoyed walking around the grounds which are charming and beautiful. We were seated and then the waiting began.....for everything. We literally waited over...an hour for our food. Other diners waited even longer. Our waitress apologized profusely but even so we asked for syrup, salt and pepper...you know the basics but she never brought it. We went to empty tables and took it. Another table asked for the manager who never appeared. Someone seated after us was served and paying the bill before we even got food. It was just awful. I let the waitress know our dissatisfaction. She said that the help dreads working Sundays due to this. Just wow!! Totally unacceptable! Get it together settlers inn! I couldn't even get more coffee. Was told it was brewing and it never came!! We were staying at ledges hotel their other hotel. We had a nice stay there and dinner.More

A charming country inn whose dining room exudes warmth and hospitality. Live piano music seals the deal. Food always good. Service first rate. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. The best restaurant for miles around.More

Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. It was included in our hotel stay at Ledges Hotel. If not for this we probably wouldn't have stopped by here.

AMAZING! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous dinner; thank you for such a wonderful night! From the minute you walk inside, you feel relaxed, welcome and cozy. My husband's filet mignon was prepared to absolute perfection. The flavorful butternut squash lasagna was excellent, as...well. We really appreciated the flavors and creativity behind each appetizer and dish and the warm, genuine, attentive staff who provided fabulous service. Deb was great! We felt completely safe and comfortable and could see all social distancing/safety measures were in place. Between the atmosphere, impeccable food and service, the Settlers is truly a stand-alone, somewhere everyone can feel comfortable and enjoy a delicious, truly incomparable meal. Don't dismiss the idea of ordering a meal for take out either! We had the Christmas Eve dinner and requested a vegetarian option which they were more than happy to accomodate. We thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you! Can't wait to visit again soon!More

We just stayed at Settler’s Inn. They are opening up their phenomenal restaurant tomorrow. The charming old world style inn is gorgeously decorated and with the gently falling snow looks enchanting. The fire in the fireplace is nice and cozy. I played a few tunes...on their piano. The pork chops amd butternut squash lasagne were divine! The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They’re doing a wonderful job keeping everyone safe during COVID. Thank you so much to everyone for your hard work.More

We went away for a few days wine tasting on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. The weather turned cold and rainy so we came home early to enjoy a fine dinning experience at the Settler's Inn. We are local and visit Settler's one or twice...a year knowing that we will be impressed with great service and a delicious meal. Once again our expectations were exceeded, we enjoy a wonderful evening.More
