One of the special treats I enjoy when visiting the Portland area is at least one (and usually more) stops at Shari's. My two visits to this restaurant this trip were excellent in every regard: Service was efficient, friendly, and accurate. Menu was varied, and,...as their greeting plaque says in the lobby, loaded with comfort food of ample portion size. Prices are competitive with similar type restaurants, such as Denny's and IHOP, but the menu is better. Pies are always good. Shari's app tracks visits (amount spent) and one earns a $5.00 discount for each 100 points earned ($100 dollars spent). To accumulate points, scan the bar code at the bottom of your bill into the Shari's app. App also offers special deals from time to time, plus a free slice of pie when one signs up. Well here we go!!!!! 2% charge for using debt card, SLOW service, burnt toast with unmelted butter, horrible lemon meringue pie the meringue was coffee in color and last the bill was brought to me on a piece of wood the bill attached with a...rubber band 😳😱. NEVER again Shari’s bye, bye!!!!More

i do not want to say, because we were Hispanic they did not take care us correctly. on 12/24/18 around 9:20 pm we decide to stop by to have a dinner after Mass, on one of those favorites restaurant with my niece, she come from...Mexico for the Holidays.(no good experience for her what happen.) we order: the holiday turkey dinner. with coffe...at the time the place was not full. we waiting for an hour in a half in nothing happen..when we raise are hand after 45 minutes waiting.. they said on 10 minutes... more clients started arrived and on normal time brought them his orders,,and we continue waiting.. we had a lady at our side of the table, who arrived about hour after us,she hear they said on 10 minutes.. her order come and she see us with a face like whatt... she had her dinner first....;(...and she said to the waiters why we don't have are dinner yet.. we was first then her... and the customer apologize to us to eat first. on the time we was there, we drink 3 CUPS OF COFFE...waiting, waiting,, waiting... when i check the time..almost 11:00 PM if the turkey was alive when we arrive to the restaurant, explain to us.. we all know it takes cooking time haha. Manager on Duty, she look at us like nothing happen, when we ready to go, we stop by cash register to pay 3 cups of coffee (remember), she no said word about what happen, no apologize.. nothing, just said.. ho just the coffee . its ok....merry Christmas... ( just because Remember we back from Mass..We did not tell them what they deserved.. ahahahaha lucky ones haha end to the no good story..about Shari's Cafe experience.
