Go to Juniper if you have an opening for a meal in Tulsa. The chef here is trying new/hard things with great success. Get out of your comfort zone and try something new because Juniper fits the bill. They use fresh ingredients and everything is...cooked perfectly. The portions are perfect, not too big and not too small. My opinion of the food scene in Tulsa has really gone up. Good job everyone.More

Overall a little underwhelming but very friendly staff and amazing mains brings this review up to a strong 4 stars. I ordered what was supposed to be an apple whisky Collins but there was no whiskey, it was made with gin. Super disappointed and wish...I knew that as I would have switched to wine. For food, we started with the chefs special soup which was corn and potatoes and it was sort of bland. The waiter, who so very friendly and nice, recommended it so I tried it. I would not order again and was a little disappointed. My Gf started with the small beet salad and again it was good but very underwhelming; just a few chopped beets and arugula. We were a bit nervous after that and a little disappointed as the place was so highly rated. Then the main dishes came and blew our minds! I had the beef stroganoff and she had the seasonal risotto- both were top notch. Her dish was packed full of flavor and had corn, cauliflower and other veggies with perfectly cooked risotto. The flavor was outstanding. My dish was so creative and delicious, filet on noodles, I was so pleased. That elevated the experience and we decided to order dessert, I had apple cobbler and she the creme brûlée. Both were good, full stop. I would absolutely go back for mains but would skip the salads and soup and split a dessert…they are good but not great. The staff is super and the main dishes are worth going for. Weak start, huge middle and decent ending give this a sold 4 star.More

This is a great date night place. Atmosphere is romantic and business casual. Waiter was pleasant and efficient. Good wine list but not cheap. We started with the Goat Cheese and Salami Board which was a meal in itself. Then the Beet salad followed with...the Scallops. Meal was delicious and portions though small were large enough. For dessert Cream brûlée. Prices are a little on the pricey side but worth it.More

Could not wait to go back to this well located jewel in the heart of Tulsa town. My last review was glowing after we sat at the bar and had a great meal after a hectic day. This time, we hosted 8 people at a...great table in the center of the restaurant. The Brussel sprout appetizer was not good at all, the flavors were standard and unappealing. The charcuterie plate was not well received by the table either. Kind of disappointing. But, the mains were excellent. The market fish was cooked perfectly, the steak was amazing and the wines were good. This place has not lost it, just need more time on task. Keep up the good work!More

Our server was great. Had the filet. It was very good except for the bone marrow mashed potatoes served in a bone. Presitation was not to well and not to mention, tasted like crap.

I haven't been in downtown Tulsa in awhile, and this place was a wonderful surprise. We went for my daughter's college graduation and were very happy with everything. The food was marvelous. We had a picky vegetarian who was quite happy with her choices. I...had the ruby trout - perfect, daughter had duck for the first time and was thrilled. Guys had beef and chicken dishes - all with a unique twist. They have a very respectable wine list as well. Service was very good. You can tell they are still recovering from the slow down and so were a bit short staffed, but everyone was pitching in and it went remarkably well. Very attentive from greeting at the door to the extra dessert served to my daughter. I would highly recommend for any special occasion or out of town guests who might think Tulsa is still a marginal cow town.More

I only gave this restaurant 1star because I had to rate it. It actually deserves a negative 5 star rating. The food was over priced for very little food. The pork rib plate was $23 for 2 ribs on a small strip of slaw. The...stroganoff was $29 for a cup of noodles with 4 thin strips of steak. I ordered Brussel sprouts as a side dish they brought them out way to early and suggested I eat it as an appetizer.More

Our group of 7 went to Juniper for dinner because the first two places we went to has 2+hr waits. We thought it was unlikely we’d get in because of how well it’s rated. We got right in and sat at a high top table...in the bar. My husband and I did the Tasting Menu with the wine pairing and it was amazing. The service was friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. The wine pairings were spot on with our dishes and everyone at the table was thoroughly pleased with their selections. Would love to come back in the future. Highly recommend!!More
