It’s a pleasant place for a drink for local people. It won four in a bed but have to say we didn’t see how. The staff were not warm and welcoming on reception. No concern for if we enjoyed our stay. More interested in the...local community. The duvet was stained and given for my child with no duvet cover. No spoons for the tea tray. And the mini bar- well there wasn’t one! We booked the suite- my partner queried this and was told it was the tea tray! Lol. There were marks on the walls, dusty flowers in the bathroom and the little things were forgotten. The food was beautiful I have to say. Nice outdoor seating area. No information given about check out times or no service for breakfast. Asked about local area and was like pulling teeth! Not keen when we asked for a glass of ice for the room. We had already had a meal and drinks and didn’t have many facilities in the suite.More

I rang and ordered our Pizzas and we were given a time slot. The Pizza arrived 15 mins after agreed time. (We only live half a mile away from the Avenue) The boxes felt nice and hot, as you would expect. Opened up the boxes...and immediately you could see that these Pizza were not up to the normal standard, in fact, if I hadn’t waited so long for them I would have binned them. They looked like the had been on top of the oven for ages keeping warm. The mushrooms were all shrivelled up and the cheese had turned into a solid mess. And come on, only five bits of Pepperoni on a 12 inch “ Pepperoni” Pizza. After about 5 mins the crust was that hard I was in fear of loosing my fillings. I left comment on their Facebook page but have not had a response as yet (3 days) All I can say is, it was a good job it was 2 for 1. I hope when all the virus stuff is over, they return to their normal top quality and taste.More

Came here with my house, just a few mins wal away. Would say it is more of a bar place then a restaurant but the atmosphere was amazing and could see myself coming here more often. Ordered a steak and would have to say one...of the best I've ever had. Would definently recommendMore

Stayed 2 nights. Friendly, helpful staff. Room was spotless and perfect size. The breakfast was outstanding, cooked to order so was piping hot and plenty of it with unlimited hot drinks. Would highly recommend and would visit again.

Nice staff, very nice decor. We both had Pizza, and I have to say, it was the best Pizza I have had in a long time, very nice base and crust, with delicious toppings. We also had a rather nice bottle of Pinot. Will definitely...be back.More

I had full English breakfast or just a toast or cereal. The main menu included...poultry, fish and steaks as well as vegetarian dishes. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful.
