Great for a quick lunch, breakfast or just a coffee, had a nice list of milkshakes too. I have the chicken pesto sandwich, well priced, tasty, no complaints

We visited this tea room as a family of 6 during a shopping trip through Lyndhurst high street, we just wanted a cup of tea between shops. This place looked cute and lovely… the decor was clean, the crockery was quirky - thought we’d found...a hidden gem…. The guy (I assume manager) was very welcoming and smiley, he seated us straight away, he asked if we were eating and I said we just wanted drinks, we then sat (and sat and sat) and waited to be served. The seating area was less than half full so it was not a busy time of day. Eventually a young girl came to take our order, and after a long period of time our drinks came but it took 3 visits to our table to deliver all our drinks - this was disruptive and disjointed. Everyone’s drinks were nice, I simply had a cup of tea - the tea pit was large for one person but that’s no problem as there was plenty of milk, however I couldn’t get a decent brew as there was too much water for one tea bag, after leaving it to settle for sometime I returned it and asked for it to be removed from my bill as everyone else had finished their drinks. I said the service had been poor and the girl apologised, she said she thought we were ordering food (not that that’s should delay placing an order), I replied stating the guy had asked us upon entry if we were eating and we said no so he clearly did not passed the message on. Frustratingly, people who were seated after us were served before us and when the girls clearly passed on my dissatisfaction to the chap who had welcomed us, he looked over at us for a while and made to attempt to apologise. It really zapped our spirits of shopping, annoyingly there’s so many tea rooms along the high street and we chose this tea room and was very disappointed.More

We had afternoon tea here one day during our stay in Lyndhurst. I have to say these were the best scones we have ever had in a tea room anywhere! Fresh from the oven and really delicious! Very friendly and helpful for anyone with food...allergies or intolerances. Looking forward to another visit on a future trip to Lyndhurst!More

This cafe was so good we went twice! It can be hard to find good to veggie and gluten free options in a cafe, but this was delicious and great value for money. We would have loved to have seen a couple more dairy free...options, like vegan cheese, spread or milkshakes, and it would have been great for the veggie sausages to have been gluten free. Overall though it was great and we would recommend.More

Post dog walk coffee stop, with steaming hot coffee served with a friendly service. Meals and milkshakes looked good too.

Friendly service, orders are taken at your table. Felt very safe, with current covid situation. Good options available on the menu, we opted for the breakfast, partner asked of fried bread instead of toast and this was done. The breakfast was lovely and very filling....Lovely to see that it is also dog friendly, we will definitely be back. Next time we may try the afternoon teas or homemade cakes as they looked devine.More

Sadly not. The seats at the front are ok but the road at the front is busy and after 10 am just like the road outside the tables are usually full!
