Despite being a local for a few years now I hadn't visited this pub in many years, but I really wish I had. The inside is warmly decorated and welcoming - quite cosy. We enjoyed some drinks from the decent selection of beer and sampled...some of the food. The food is expensive, but it's very, very good. I had the ribs, which is probably the best ribs I've ever had. My wife enjoyed the steak - which was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.More

We came on today (sunday) and the adults all had roast which we all said was lovely, every part of it. The kids had sausage and chips and burger and chips, which they ate literally all of it, even my four year old boy who...is really fussy and does not eat a lot. I can only thank you all the service was lovely, toilets and venue very clean. We are 2 families one local and one from Somerset. Will be back here for sure when I return to battle. Thank you.More

What a first night out in two years as a couple. Had our first date here four years ago and the place looks even better now. New decor, warm and cosy and the food? Bang went the diet. Had the best pork belly I’ve had...in my life. Good to be back!More
