We serve amazing breakfast lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We also now offer a restaurant quality delivery service like no other, you book your slot and we deliver in oven vans to ensure your food is piping hot

Really disappointed

I have been ordering food regularly from Prontos in Hailsham since it first opened. The food has always been lovely, had on two occasions where items had been missing but was always sorted promptly. In August a family member had a extremely nasty fall, just before we needed to pick up our order. We ended up heading to A and E and spend 9 hours at the hospital, so wasn’t able to go pick up the food. I called to inform them that I couldn’t collect as I was heading to the hospital, the chef explained it had already be cooked but if I emailed them they would issue a refund. Well I have emailed them three times with no reply, I fully understand some of the food couldn’t be re-sold and was happy for a partial refund. We also ordered the next day once they were back home. So ended up spending £60-70 in total. Very disappointed with there customer care. They have now lost a regular customer.

Really disappointing lately

Loved Pronto when they first opened but they have really gone downhill in the last few months. They used to have a creative menu, lots of vegetarian options, and great food for a good price, but lately there are hardly any vegetarian choices - the menu on the website rarely reflects reality and when trying to order last night there was not a single vegetarian option - no wraps, no burgers and no salads/buddha bowls. Delivery is slow and when you use kerbside pickup, they will always leave you waiting 10 minutes at least, sometimes more. We are desperate to support local businesses but what used to be a weekly pleasure has become a monthly frustration to the point we are sadly giving up. Totally understand the pressures hospitality businesses are under at the moment, but if that's the reason for the poor menu or disappointing service, maybe a notice on the website to explain would help manage expectations.

Could be so good.....could!

I really like the food here, nicely cooked and well presented. The staff are always friendly.......but the big issue is getting the order right. Once again, put in 3 separate orders today for breakfast, all the printouts were checked and correct yet all 3 orders were wrong. We order weekly from here but sadly not any more. Orders are wrong more often that not so probably worth going elsewhere until they sort these issues out to avoid disappointment. We like to support local business especially new ones, however nothing appears to have been done in order to rectify the problem. Therefore overall I would score it a regrettable 2.5 out of 5. This was p This was brought to the attention of Pronto out of courtesy, however no reply was received.

Hi thanks for your review and feedback, just to confirm we did reply to your email. we always reply but at weekends it may take 48 hours but as a small local business we will always be proactive to look to improve. Its worth noting the missing items were the free sauces of which we did reply that following your meal we have changed our process to ensure this doesn't happen again.

We ordered Pronto's Sunday Roast for Mother's Day, best roast hands down we have ever had & blown away by the price of £12pp including delivery. I haven't had this level of quality even at restaurants paying close to double the price. EVERY SINGLE item was cooked to perfection, the beef was tender, potatoes crispy on the outside and soft inside, large yorkshires, the vegetables were not too soft or hard, loads of flavour and generous portions also don't get us started on their red wine gravy & vanilla bean custard😍 I couldn't recommend Pronto enough! We are going to experience their drive through service this week so review incoming. (Check out their milkshakes and Budda bowls on their menu😧) Ps. We loved their roast so much we decided to order again for Easter Sunday & the lovely lady Jess accommodated our needs of a roast for three and was so helpful and friendly! Massive thanks to the Pronto team & chefs ❤️❤️❤️ Update 2. We came through the drive thru April 2021 and had two bacon beef burgers, fries and biscoff milkshakes. Again great attention was paid to making the food to a high standard with all fresh ingredients. Milkshake were thick, saucy and had a generous helping of cream 😍 so far have received nothing but the best food from pronto!!

Horrendous!!

Absolutely awful! Don’t recommend at all! Order tonight, delivery an hour late! Called up numerous times, being a 3 minute drive away they still took 20 minutes after they left. Extremely rude member of staff stating “well it’s out for delivery so you will get it when you get it”…. Are they alright?? 😡 stone cold food, soggy burger buns, uncooked sausage, over cooked burgers, everything just looks like it’s been heated up 10 times and then left to go cold. They reckon their vans have things in to keep food warm….. but ours wasn’t even luke warm! Kids couldn’t even eat the dinner! Would never recommend anyone to order from here and judging from others reviews from Facebook, Google and other sites….. it is clear that we are not the only ones that have had this issue! Will be reporting to environmental health… this place should be shut down!

My order hadn’t arrived after 2 hours. I tried calling with no answer. My husband had been out and arrived home and decided to drive down to pronto. The girl on checkout went in and came back with our order only some items were missing. She went back and got them. My husband came back our food was cold I had two disappointed children and paid £5 for delivery and ended up collecting ourselves. Absolutely terrible experience.

Mostly fantastic

First time we tried this it was brilliant in every regard. Best fries we ever had, burgers fantastic, basically faultless with prompt delivery and food arriving well packaged and hot! Next time the same except the fries had changed. They were more skinny and came overcooked, so after the first experience, this was slightly disappointing. Next time, again all food bar the fries was fantastic. This time, fries had a poor taste as if the oil was old and in need of changing. Ordering again tonight and nothing written here should put anyone off as this place is still by far the best fast food take out in the area by a long way,..... just sort the fries out haha!!

Didn’t actually order after the seeing the prices

Looked at the website, looking forward to trying them again after their refurb. Guess they have to pay for it somehow but a burger at £9 that now does not come with fries (used to) is steep to say the least. Skinny fries £2.50 so for a burger and chips for 2 people to be delivered is £23 plus a £5 delivery charge! They are having a laugh…..

First time ordering,not disappointed

We ordered two chicken and bacon burgers through the pronto website for collection. Only had to wait a couple of minutes before our food arrived and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend. Both the burgers and fries were perfect, generous helpings, great packaging and really tasty.

Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service throughout. Placed an order with pronto for a 9:30 delivery, was then called at 9:30 to be told it would be at least another hour or would I like a refund. I requested a refund as it would have been too late to eat by the time I got my food. This was promised to be given to me by Saturday. A week later I’m still waiting and have just been told it’s not something they can do. Will never be using their services again.

First time = Fab, second time AWEFUL!

I don't know what changed within a month... but something went down hill! From burned fries, to soggy burger dripping with fluid. I even wrote an email to them with feedback and they completely ignored my email. The other thing... Who even puts the salad under the meat when prepping a burger? Makes the bottom bun fall apart due to being so soggy. Really poor sadly.

Hi Sam thanks for the review, We always reply to all of our customers with emails it just may take up to 48hours to respond so we did reply. We toast our buns to avoid them being soggy and the salad is placed at the bottom protects the burgers juices going thru the bun. The chefs tell me this is a science in building the perfect burger. We do feel however feel your rating is a little harsh 😭

AVOID! Took my money but did not deliver food, now can't get hold of them

Be very careful before paying up front with Pronto. I ordered a takeaway on Saturday night and received a phone call immediately after advising that some of my ordered items could not be delivered due to staff sickness. They confirmed I would receive a refund and 6 days later, nothing received. I have emailed and called and no-one has helped and no manager is seemingly available to speak to me. Be very careful parting with your money, terrible customer service and nearly £40 out of pocket with no food delivered. BE WARNED!

Extremely good service!

Absolutely gorgeous food. The chicken burger we ordered had three breaded chicken breasts, loads of cheese and extremely fresh salad. Normally you order a burger and the salad is an afterthought. The spinach was crisp, the tomato slice was huge and bright red and there was a lot of sliced red onion. The food was boiling when it arrived. Took about 15 minutes from when I ordered! Everything was packaged beautifully and it looks to be completely recyclable as well. Very, very impressed!

Amazing idea and great food

We ordered breakfast this morning and were very impressed - such a great concept. Everything was cooked perfectly and beautifully packaged. There’s a great range to choose from, ordering is simple, it was ready quickly and on time, and pick-up was straightforward. Large portions, reasonably priced, and staff very friendly. Will definitely order again - thank you!
