WE stopped here for lunch with another couple to shop and enjoy the fall in the mountains. While waiting we sat by the large fireplace and toured the beautiful historic building that Madison is in. The food was very good, service very good and our...More

I made reservations on Open table several months in advance. They called to tell us they moved us to the Wine Cellar room. ( I'm sure because they had to re-arrange for a large wedding party.). It turned out to be fabulous! The room was...More

Outside dining with prompt service. Recommend cocktails, Trout salad dish and signature Pizza! Good vibe and upscale atmosphere. Fun to sit up at the bar and chat to fellow travelers.

If you are staying in the Highlands/Cashiers area don’t miss out on Madison’s. Reservations are a must but no detail is forgotten. I had the duck and my husband had a steak. Both of our meals were delicious.

Stopped into Madisons for our anniversary, first clue should have been that it was almost empty at 7pm on a Saturday. It is the best restaurant on the property but keep your expectations in check.

I see an answer below on no outside seating. That is incorrect. The Wine Garden has plenty of outside seating.
