This place is the best place to get good food in Cherokee, NC. The prices are very reasonable and the sandwiches are big with a lot of meat and they a delicious! Haven't tried the deserts but they look good. The tea the best I've...had anywhere. And I like that they are a family owned business. Great service with friendly works.More
We stopped for a deli sandwich. The breads were fresh both, the rye and the wheat. They are very generous with the meat. Very delicious sandwich. The deserts are homemade and I can tell you the mini cupcakes are to die for. Fresh, moist and...delicious. You must try. Very friendly workers.More
Outstanding service. Fresh, delicious food. Decent prices. And most important: They are open! So many of the restaurants (and other stores) in Cherokee are permanently closed.
There are outside tables are available, mostly under cover. There is a large area inside that is closed, I'm...guessing is a dining area that is closed due to Covid.More
Even with a huge crowd on a Saturday afternoon, I was extremely pleased with my experience here! Very friendly, fast service and great food! I got a barbecue chicken sandwich and my husband got a pulled pork sandwich and we both loved it! Perfect little...shop. We didn’t indulge with the sweets but their cupcakes & ice cream look excellent!More
We stopped to eat lunch here, so many things closed due to Covid-19. It did not disappoint. Great service and the Reuben was tasty! Will def come back again! Good looking cupcakes and desserts but we were full!
My husband and I were eating lunch at the "local" hipster bakery in our hometown earlier today, and it came to us about the same time that our mediocre, overpriced sandwiches we were eating paled in comparison to the lunch we had a few weeks...ago during our visit to the Smokies.
We were in Cherokee for lunch, after having spent the morning traipsing about the southern end of the National Park. Our initial choice closed early, so a quick search online brought up Front Porch. SO GLAD we chose this place-the sandwiches were delish!
I had a turkey, my husband had the BBQ pork and our friend had vegetarian food of some sort, but since I hate vegetables, who cares...lol...
We were impressed with both the quality and quantity. While we don't know where they source the BBQ from, my husband believes it was really smoked pork and not something cooked in a stove with liquid smoke. My turkey, while it was sliced like deli meat, had a really meaty, turkey flavor. It didn't taste like crappy deli loaf. And there was so much meat, I saved 1/2 of mine , plus the chips, for dinner later that night, since we weren't going out.
I absolutely recommend their sandwiches. I only wish we'd got some bakery too...oh well, next time!More
Stopped for lunch while in Cherokee. Because of Covid 19 there is no inside dining. Table are available on the porch.
We ordered a sandwich to share and it was plenty for both of us. You order your food and it is brought out to...your table.
It was a pleasant lunch and we would stop there again.More
A friendly, young lady greeted us when we arrived to get sandwiches for a picnic lunch. My husband got the chicken salad and I got the grilled pimento cheese with bacon. The dining area was closed due to COVID-19, but there was a nice outside...dining area, where we waited while our order was made. It was brought out to us. She even anticipated our needs, and packed us some plastic utensils. My husband said the chicken salad was good, but my pimento cheese was fabulous. Both c0ame ne0atly packed in a box with a pickle and chips. We also got these huge red velvet brownies with cream cheese icing for dessert. We split one and kept one for later. They were delicious. I would have been glad to have sampled the other desserts, they all looked so good. We will definitely visit again when we're in town!More
