The restaurant was recommended by our guide in response to our wish to try authentic Zanzibari cuisine. The place was fantastic! High energy, with many food options and a juice bar to boot! If you want a quiet lunch, however, you can always go before...More

It used to be the to go to place but it is now slipping. That is the verdict I came out with when I visited Lukmaan just a few weeks ago. The food variety is unquestionable. Yes very local, and certainly well catered for. But...More

Despite being quite crowded at times, the staff here work really hard to make sure everyone gets looked after. Great range of food on the menu and fabulous fruit smoothies. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Stone Town.

Apparently popular with locals but a lot of tourists too, offers a simple menu all well enough cooked at a very good price. Certainly worth stopping by.
