Great beers, excellent food, ok service. The berliner weisse was one of the best I ever had. The kolsch was good. The room was beautiful . The fish tacos were fresh crisp and top notch. The pretzels were stale and cold. The bartenders were cold and rude especially for an empty place at noon.

Beautiful Location, Okay Service

My sisters and I went on a trip to Hudson Valley and stopped at Newburgh on the way to our air bnb. We understand that it was Covid and there is added stress.. but the hostess was not very nice and made it known to us that if we sat down, we would only have 30 minutes to an hour to sit. We would have rather just been turned away rather than feeling rushed the entire time. I would like to come back and try the place again as it’s a great location and I really enjoyed the beer. I know the pandemic has added some extremely tense times to restaurant staff and I try to understand that- but from a customer perspective we did not feel welcome.

Great food & beers!

Stopped here today for lunch a few beers. The fish tacos and nachos were AMAZING!! I had the East Kolsch & Cream Ale which we’re both very good. The Bananas Foster was not to my liking. Highly recommend visiting here and I would return.

Ok so lets dive right into it. Before I give my review, there were two things right off the bat that I want to mention that i totally disliked. 1. The took my credit card to hold for my tab...weird. 2. When it was time to pay the bill there was no detailed bill saying like you bought a Pepsi $3.00, Hamburger $5.00... just the bill total. The Good: Cool building, nice atmosphere The Ok: The staff was eh, so so. Lunch on a Sunday, plenty of empty seats. The Bad. Horrible street location, the food was horrible. Chicken fingers dry, fries over cooked it was just not good. Not a place I would revisit.

We really enjoyed our stop here . The food was delicious and the space was fun with. Great view of the water. Definitely recommend !

Cool Spot Serving Seriously Delicious Beer

After a stressful experience with our overnight accommodation, my husband and I luckily found Newburgh Brewing Co and it was just what the doctor ordered. Located on the cavernous 2nd floor of a converted old brick building, Newburgh Brewing Co. stands out as memorable. The wheat beer, Purrfect Wheat, was really tasty as was my husband’s IPA, MegaBoss. The bartender couldn’t have been more helpful advising us on other places to stay in the area and the large community-tables were perfect to prop up my iPad and find somewhere else to stay. The side-order of delicious fries to go with the beers didn’t hurt either. While we were there, a DJ was setting up on the stage located in the very large open space and our only regret was we weren’t able to stay long enough to enjoy the music. We will definitely return to Newburgh Brewing Co. next time in the area.

Best brewery in the area

The establishment is very open and has a great view of the Hudson River. The beers are by far the best in the area. The food we had was very good as well. It was a great find for us. We would definitely go back. The only constructive criticism I would give is that it would be nice if they roped an area near the bar. Tough to figure out any kind of line and unless you're pushy you could find yourself standing there for a while.

Developing Neighborhood with Unique Taste

They have a very interesting selection of craft beers on tap. Nice atmosphere and liked the industrial feel of the building. It's set up is very similar to the outdoor beer garden but the picnic style tables are inside of the second floor in an industrial building. Enjoyed some live music when we visited here as well. It seemed kind of sketchy driving up to it at night because the street felt like a poorly paved alley but don't let that deter you from going in!

Love at first sight

This is my favorite place in the Hudson valley. The beer us world class. The space is right out of a restoration hardware catalog. Love it. So open, fun, fantastic. Food is awesome and exactly what you want with world class beer. Garlic fries. Onion rings. Real (not that frozen cr@p) pretzels. The space is perfect for big groups, kids, etc and also great to saddle up to the bar or near one of the windows overlooking the Hudson with the wife and have a great afternoon. And the draft rotation is constant. You can drink something new every weekend. Nuts. Can’t wait for my next visit. I’ve been 10x or so and never had a bad experience. I love this place!!
