We really enjoyed our meal at Tony's on the Lake. As the name suggests, it's on the lake, or at least across the road with a great view, just a little car noise, and only an occasional loud motorcycle. We appreciated their welcoming our dog...to the patio. We shared saltimboca, a salad, and the house cheesecake and everything was very good. The wine list was decent as well. We'll definitely go back if we're ever in Couer d'Alene again.More

A large group of us descended on Tony’s after a Friday night show nearby. Lots of people were around the bar. A pool table dominated a room nearby. The dining area had a view of Lake Huntington. Service was erratic. Some people finished their meal...before others even got them. Food was also erratic. I asked for an avocado & bacon burger. Waitress says no avocado tonight. I asked if chef cooks burgers as ordered. “Yes” is the answer. My medium mushroom & cheese burger eventually arrives well-done. And with hardly any mushrooms. A companion ordered a dinner with mashed potatoes that looked like something the cat threw up. We ordered one bottle of chardonnay. It was jug wine in a bottle. We soldiered through and ordered another. All gone..no more white wine. Maybe things are better when it’s less crowded. I don’t plan to find out.More

They were understaffed and asked if we had to be anywhere soon, but we sat down anyway. After looking at the very limited menu, and realizing that Tony was bartender, cook and owner we knew that it would be a long night. When drinks didn't...come after 15 min we thanked them and left. They understood why.More

I've been going to this place for years and it's one of my favorite places ever. The owner is awesome, the food is great and the atmosphere is so welcoming. It's a good time and we love it there! Karaoke nights are awesome and we...are hoping to go to a trivia night too at some point! They were about to close the kitchen when my family went in and they made sure they got our orders in and gave us the full menu. Awesome service and always so fun going back! :)More

Ordered food at 6:45 received food at 8:45. Mediocre service nice waiter but forgot a lot. When we asked to see the manager we were told he couldn't come out he was cooking there were 2 other people in the restaurant. I ordered Salmon 1...of the 5 entrees they offer that's all, a half hour after we ordered the waiter came out & said they're out of Salmon. 2 of the 9 meals were burnt to a crisp. 5 small scallops with 2 pieces of broccoli and a spoon full of rice for $22. Nice atmosphere & you have a long time to view it. Very poor. Maybe a good bar but don't eat here you will be sorry. 2 couples left & a family left the 2 of 4 meals and walked our. TerribleMore

Walk in the door on a Saturday night, doesn't look crowded, but we are asked if we have reservations. We didn't, but were seated right away and were told "be right back with menus and to take a drink order." So we waited. And waited....15 minutes goes by as do waitresses and the bar keeper that sat us. No drinks, no menus. Finally just got up and left. I've heard good things but with service like that it's not worth the gas to get there for a 2nd try.More

Ventured out with the family to this very nice Lake Huntington restaurant. The menu is varied with pub food, seafood entrees and steaks. So there is a lot to choose from. We just ordered appetizers, salads and burgers but everything was fresh and tasty. Service...very pleasant. Eating with a view a the lake is also a major plus.More

Tony's offers well-prepared food in a beautiful setting for reasonable prices. The lake view is available either in a windowed dining room or on an open-air deck. There is a bar in another room, and a room with some dining tables and a pool table....On Saturdays they have karaoke (though we did not sample that). For a small-ish restaurant, they offer an amazing variety of seafood dishes. Most important to us, the service was friendly and attentive to our needs (low salt). Our server Brenda said she is accustomed to helping another customer who needs low fat. We enjoyed both our dinners there very much, and would be regular customers if we lived closer.More
