Upon arrival we were greeted by Tim, the owner. The Creek House is a separate, single residence looking out at a lovely creek in the rear. There are several rooms with at least four beds, a kitchenette, and a kitchen table with seating also for...four. Everything was spotless and there were many amenities (fruit, sweets, drinks, cereal, etc.). The rooms were quiet, well heated, and very comfortable. TV also provided. Next door to a large market. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.More

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to be invited to a tasting of the menu for Samba Café. It was a perfect evening, a taste of so many wonderful dishes, a dream come true for a foodie! Andrea's cooking is beyond belief - her...Brazilian cheese bread puffs are to die for. While I don't remember all the names of the dishes but the flavors still linger in my mouth. Her sausage dish had the perfect blend of spice and savory but her chocolate cake umm, heaven on a plate, but so was the pudding with the brown sugar crust. Tim was attending to the bar and his blend of sangria was refreshing but the mango cocktail was better then the creamsicle I loved as a kid. This was truly a most wonderful evening of great food and drink with the a very engaging group of peopleMore

we stayed in " creek view" which is literally beside the creek, pretty and quiet. The accommodation is a converted garage with basic self catering facilities, clean, comfortable beds and an old but nice big shower. All the furnishings are looking a little tired but,...for a short stay it is convenient and value for money. Tim and Andrea are a charming and delightful couple. Making their guests welcome. If your stay is for a weekend you can sample the talented Andreas cooking, delicious!More

Lovely little restaurant in a neat little town. They had a special New Year's dinner event, and we went. So glad we did. The food was delicious and laid out in a way that encouraged people to mingle. It's a very small space, so you...couldn't help but do that with your neighbor. The meal started with several delicious appetizers and salads and moved to turkey and pork roast with vegetables, and finished with a delicious variety of cupcakes and pies. MMMMMMMMM! We were told that they want to do more of these special events and have a champagne brunch. We'll definitely be back.More

While traveling in the Catskill Mountain area (near Villa Roma) with my best friend, we came across this funky & hip looking gem of a restaurant--Samba Cafe. Take a detour through the town of Jeffersonville and treat yourself to a marvelous meal at Samba Cafe....The fish croquettes with remoulade sauce had a perfect crunch! They served a delicious pork stew with black beans and an intriguing tortellini with wild mushrooms in a creamy sauce. But don't leave without a cup of true Brazilian coffee and a piece of their homemade peach cake with ice cream! The decor is a retro-fun theme with a hint of Brazilian jazz playing in the background. It's a "must go" if you're in the area. Oh, yes...and they serve wine. Lynn & MargaretMore

It used to only be a coffee and Juice Bar. In fact I think the name still says Samba Juice. But they expended to lunch and dinner. Good prices and good food in lovely sauces. We will be back this summer.

While visiting Jeffersonville from the Villa Roma Resorts, my wife and I came across this cozy cafe. I ordered the Cuban( a delicious sandwich with roast beef, ham and turkey) and my wife had the crab cake. Both were served with a salad or fries....The atmosphere is appealing and will keep you content as you wait for your meal. We had the place to ourselves as the little town really thrives on the summer tourism. If your in the area it is worth the stop.More
