Covid changes haven’t affected the quality of the ice cream. You now shout you order to the attendants from the porch and the menu board is on the floor inside ... but they seem to handle things well from a Covid perspective e and the ice cream is very good. I tried the maple bourbon flavor and my daughter had vanilla with some toppings. A single with two toppings and a double scoop was $12.50... which now that I think of it seems a bit high.

My friends and I came here for some ice cream on a busy October Saturday. The lines were long but they moved rapidly. The prices and the portion sizes were fair for my chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream which was placed into a waffle cone. The staff was also nice.

Flavors were fun, icecream was delicious, price was reasonable for home made icecream. They had a good system for orders and kept social distancing organized. I would go here again - fun to do after hiking (like at the foundry preserve nearby)

typical tourist ice cream shop experience, nothing noteworthy. Except for one unusual offering of a mixture that I have never seen, eaten, heard of, or ever imagined: The Godfather, which is Vanilla ice cream topped with olive oil and gourmet vinegar. All I have to say is trust your instinct, I'm sure there are some people who would eat ice cream with oil and vinegar, but if you are not sure, don't waste $8-$10 to confirm what you already suspect - it is horrible on multiple levels.
It's not even the combination that I am against, as I am a big fan of quality oil and vinegars, it is the fact that the oil is not even fresh, it's just greasy and stale tasting oil, I'm not even certain that they used extra virgin olive oil, it was just oily with no olive fragrance. There is so much stale oily taste, I can't even taste the hyped gourmet vinegar so can't comment on the vinegar.
So, i concluded that either this whole combination is just a bad idea, or that they messed it up by not using the proper oil /vinegar. In either case, $8 -$10 went straight into the trash can.

The ice cream tasted so very fresh. I had a one scoop of Oreo ice cream with chocolate sprinkles and Oreo toppings. Delish! A great destination ice cream place. They even have a “half-scoop” option. So smart!

Great view and the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted right near the coast so you can just sit down and enjoy the ice cream with a large range of sweet flavours.

Best premium ice cream we've ever tasted and we have tasted lots! Super fresh, creamy and large choice of flavors. Lines are long but move fast. Fun to sit outside on the river and watch all the other ice cream eaters enjoying their treats.

My friend and I stopped by Moo Moo's while touring small towns nearby, and we decided to try the ice cream (or is it gelato?) as a mid-afternoon snack. First off, let me assure you that their selection is vast for such a small shop. The owner made a good suggestion that we try 2 "half-scoops" as a way of getting variety in a smaller order. His "half-scoops" were remarkably generous, and he was generous with his time, too. There's just something very special about Moo Moo's, and I'd recommend it when in Cold Spring. We sat outside the shop on its porch overlooking the river, and it was lovely and peaceful on a warm-ish late May day.

We tried the fig and tiramisu. You can sit by the river and enjoy a good view after getting the ice cream. Walking around the downtown is also fun

I am a BIG TIME, PIG TIME ice cream fanatic. And this is the best ice cream I have had thus far. Maybe it's a stretch but its my favorite. Perhaps its tied with Van Leewans in NYC. However, I wouldn't have ANY issue coming from NYC, taking an hour and change train ride, JUST to get this ice cream. However, its even that much more rewarding after have a nice, few hours hike at the Breakneck Ridge trail.
The flavors here are all just so....DAMN! That's all I can say. Just burst with flavor. If you get a blueberry cream ice cream, you're testing that blueberry. If you get pumpkin, you're tasting that pumpkin. You're TASTING THE ACTUAL flavors! Not no artificial fakeness. With every lick you consuming the beautiful ice cream artistry from Moo Moo's. Making love to your taste buds, sending your palette on a journey. Sometimes my stomach doesn't always react well to dairy but I ALWAYS take a chance with Moo Moo's. I can risk an ass attack.
If you are an ice cream fan, you owe it to yourself to come here!! WILL NOT be disappointed.
If its a nice day, get your ice cream and enjoy it across the street where the Hudson River dock is. Amazing views, with amazing ice cream= Euphoria.

Ice cream made fresh daily with real cream. Lots of flavors and add-in. You can walk across the street, sit on the park bench and enjoy the view of tlHudson Bay while viewing West Point Academy across the way.
