5 stars for: Great for family & friends gatherings, You get to make friends that last a lifetime. My family has been going for over 20 years. The people we have met, we see every year. They become part of our family. Our kids have...been growing up together for years. 3 stars for The timeshares have been updated a bit but still, need repairs. 2nd-floor balconies to be replaced, NOT coverup repairs. 1/2 star: DON"T EAT THE FOOD IN THE MAIN RESTAURANT. The food is overpriced in small portions and NOT Edible. Just open a can and pour it into a dish-type food. 5 stars for some employees. 1. Housekeeping Kelley. Building 11. Retiring this year and the entire building week 25 is upset. We have gotten to know & love her. she has been the best part of waking up to a smiley face and always cleans the rooms and gets whatever the guests need. She is a wonderful woman that will be missed terribly. 2. Security guard Will, went above and beyond to help a handicapped person. I was unable to walk and he gave me a lift to the building and noticed I was on the 2nd floor came back to make sure I got up the stairs safely. 3. Head hotel manager for coming out of his office to even write down my compliments on these employees. 5. Katrina Love IS VILLA ROMA, she is an Amazing Entertainer, The way she involves the children is incredible. -3 stars for planning a show at the Mezzanine, Not enough seating for people. Some sat on the first floor staring at walls elderly and handicapped standing a while then watched them and several families leave. I tried to speak with a manager at the front desk and this Manager (heavy set with Beard) was beyond Nasty, Arrogant. Also told me "it's not his problem if people have to stand. I don't care, because you can't please everyone" turned his back and walked away.More

Do not go by picture posted on there website. I use my timeshare week and it marked as prime resort but it is not at all. The normal hotel check in lobby and timeshare lobby has night and day difference. To be honest the bed...has no bed skirt and blanket is very thin and has holes. Even bedsheet look like 10 year old. The towel is sooooo old that color change to yellow. Even I complain about blanket and they told me they give me new one but I need to return old right away. With COVID I want to leave new blanket in room for day before we can start using but they are so stingy to even give anything extra. Heating unit is so loud so hard to sleep at night. Even when you enter in building it has distinct smell but good thing is not in room. Bed is making so much noice with small movements. I feel like timeshare property is one of the motel weekly room. The hotel room building look much nicer. I don’t think I will stay here for my entire week. You usually come to vacation to relax and enjoy but this place is not enjoyable at all. I am sure people stay at there hotel they must have completely different experience.More

Stayed in building 13. first floor. Room 844. It was a one bedroom unit. I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't too disappointed. The unit is dated but adequate. However, here were my biggest gripes. The light bulbs are very low wattage. Very hard to...read at night even with all the lights turned on. I understand that with Covid, precautions need to be taken, but plastic covers were put on the pillows. It was very noisy, uncomfortable and hot. Ended up going to Walmart to buy pillows. The blanket had tears in it. My biggest problem, however, is that the walls are really thin. I guess my unit is a lockoff. There is a huge gap in the bottom of door. We could hear everything going on next door. Put a towel in gap to block light and noise but it didn't help much. That being said the grounds are very pretty and there are lots if activities to keep kids occupied. Good place for families if you aren't picky with accommodations. The restaurant was good with decent portions.More

I have heard people rave about the food here, but we did not enjoy it. One of the restaurants we ate at during our stay was Eleanor's Italian Kitchen is supposed to be a "NY-style" pizzeria, but the pizza crust tasted frozen/doughy and the sauce...was way too garlicky. We also ordered from the Roman Garden, which had a more creative menu for dinner, but the prime rib was also extremely garlicky and overcooked, the chicken pot pie was very salty, and my son's linguine was mushy and the meatballs were mostly breadcrumbs. And again, too much garlic in the marinara sauce, which was also flavored with thyme, which was perfume-y and unusual (not in a good way.)More

We've been trading time shares for 30+ years and this was one of the worst. Dirty, shabby and smelly room. Of the 3 TV's in our suite, only ONE worked the other two had various parts sitting next to the TV. Called maint every hour...for 4 hours to fix but they never showed up. I cobbled together parts to get one of the TV's working. Room smelled bad when we arrived, turned out the air conditioner was full of mold and dust. They sprayed Febreeze on it so it didn't smell (only took 3 phone calls). Ordered a hot dog in their snack bar it was $4.50, served by a guy with the crotch ripped out of his pants - and they were out of mustard! On the positive side, they do have a lot of activities if you can stand the shabby accomodations Management and maintenance were not happy that I complained and gave us a bit of attitude when taking care of the problems.More

Just returned from 3 nights at Villa Roma Resort. There is a new chef and the evening meals were delicious (all 5 courses) and different every evening. The pools were exceptionally clean as was the entire resort. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Everyone...had masks on and there was social distancing. We are 65 years old and enjoyed all of the outdoor activities such as go karts, zip lining, bumper boats, etc.More
