sat at the bar for a quick bite and a beer. Snotty little barmaid who needs a major attitude adjustment. There were fruit flies buzzing all around the bar area. The owner and his son were there and are oblivious to what is going on....Two morons if i have ever seen. will never return.More

We always get the German menu items, and we've enjoyed them every time. Just had the Beef Stroganoff with spaetzel and fresh veggies ($18.) Very good with just the right amount of spice, and the veggies (asparagus, carrots, string beans, and squash) were perfect. Also...tried the pork weiner snitzel with spaetzel and fresh veggies which had a HUGE piece of breaded pork and was very good. It doesn't come with gravy, but I think you can just request it if you wish. Service was also very good and very friendly! Thank you, Carriage House, for being just over the PA border into NY so that we PA folks can actually eat a delicious restaurant meal INSIDE in December (unlike in PA, unfortunately.)More

We were staying in a air b&b near by and decided to stop in have a beer or two and order food to take back and eat . Sirloin steak was like shoe leather and no taste , potato and vegetables that came with it...were good over all that meal was a 3 on 1 to 10 scale . 2 chicken parm dinners were nothing more than frozen microwave meals heated up . Not very appealing but when your hungry it wS ok . 4 on 1 to 10 scale. Wings were pretty good , probably the best part of the meal and the arugula salad and spatzel were so so. Server was the the best Molly was aces ! Thank you Molly , you were a delight and very friendly! Don't think we will eat there again unless we order wings and have a beer.More

Service here was good and friendly, though the food was okay. The dessert was delicious, but when I ate the Delaware Cheesesteak, I found that a lot of the roast beef was very tough because it was so rare.

Stopped here with the Harley motorcycle group I ride with. Decent amount of parking. Friendly staff, good food. Took a while for the food to come out, but there was quite a few of us. Average prices. I’d stop and eat here again when I...return to the Hawk’s Nest area.More

Food was good and staff was attentive but the decor is a little dated. Great view of the river and bridge.
