What a great pitstop!
The menu covers burgers, quiches and toasted sandwiches. Big selection coffees and beverages. Also licenced. Lovely shaded seating, or you can sit inside. Perfect for travellers.
The best of all is the friendly service and sparkling clean rest rooms. We will stop here from now on!

So pleased to find nothing has changed in the two years since we were last here. A very welcome beer and toasted cheese sandwich from Granville, a warm greeting from Ray and helpful chat about our destination. A real treasure of old fashioned hospitality.

Not a Spur or other large franchise, but good service, good food and a "lekka kuier". No wonder that Ray's Coffee shop has featured on various positive reviews and media.
We enjoyed our good breakfast and nice chat to owners. It appears to be the local go-to place also (and they cannot be wrong)
Off the beaten track, but well worth a visit - Highly recommended!

Popped into Ray's for a late breakfast snack on my way to Prince Albert. What a fantastic place. Ray was on hand to welcome me personally. Great food at great prices. The crispest, freshest toast I have ever eaten.
Also stopped at Ray's on my way back to the coast, and had a brilliant breakfast there. Perfectly poached eggs.
In the future, I will stop at Ray's every single time.

Lovely, friendly spot which we regularly use for our trips en route to Johannesburg or if in the area. Service is polite and friendly. Menu is simple but food is well prepared. Ray always in attendance. Highly recommended.

We drove pass Rays and saw the inviting terrace. The menu is small but the food is extremely good and they make their own CHIPS. They sell amazing sauces and rusks.

We order pancakes. It was old and cold..... It was defnitely not freshly baked pancakes. They did not warm the plates, so the pancakes was ice cold. Very unappetising.

We we looking for a place to stop for lunch and came across Ray's.
It is an amazing place. Friendly owners and staff. The food was delicious and the portions were big. Reasonably priced as well!
