Ordered a Ostrich steak and chips. Ostrich steak was perfectly cooked was moist and Port sauce was delicious. Chips were freshly made and well not over cooked.

I have eaten out quite a bit over the last few months but always cautiously. We had a pleasant dinner with delicious lamb chops but our experience was let down by the fact that none of the staff wore masks - which is unacceptable in...this era.More

The restaurant was quite full and we were sat inside in a hot room with no fan or A/C. After getting our (very overpriced) drinks quite promptly we ordered our meals. Very simple dishes - two pizzas and a couple of prego rolls. After an...hour there was no sign of any food and not even a small bowl of bread. By 90 minutes we enquired and the owner said "two tables to go and then yours are up." By this stage, we were not only extremely hungry but worried our food might not arrive at all. After nearly two hours we were then told the pizzas were going to be started "in 5 minutes". Sure enough, 15 minutes later there were was no food. Eventually, after just over two hours with absolutely nothing, we walked out, hungry and very disappointed. We got the impression that the kitchen was totally overburdened. The owners should have told us after 15 minutes that it would be a very long wait so that we could go elsewhere for a simple meal. The menu stating "good food takes time," is no excuse for two hours waiting hungrily. Would not recommend at all.More

First some goods... nice location, very central and cute decor. Very welcoming atmosphere. Clean. The bads... our small salad took 45 minutes and mains took 2 hours from the time of ordering. The restaurant was not busy, only two couples and one family dining. Owners...were friendly enough but more concerned with their table of friends, and eating and drinking themselves, than actually running their restaurant and taking care of the guests. I think my food was good but I was so hungry by the time it came I just inhaled it. I had the seafood curry and my wife had an ostrich steak. The restaurant was recommended by our b&b host.More

What a fun night. Enjoyed the patio dining. Owners are very friendly and we ended up chatting to them & other customers. The Espetada was particularly good. Very good vegetable side dish too. Extra care is taken with presentation.

We were recommended Porto Deli by our accomodation and it didn't disappoint. Welcoming, easy going and tasty. We felt relaxed in their company and obviously a place for locals too - which we loved. Food was delicious, home cooked and friendly atmosphere.

I had the opportunity to have supper at this restaurant during the past week. Oh Wow, the most amazing seafood curry imaginable. Large portion, very flavorful. I was invited by the owners to share a table with them as well as some other locals from...town - so over and above fabulous food, the Calitzdorp friendliness was priceless. Thanks guys for a great experiendeMore

The peri peri chicken is fantastic and good selection of local wines to accompany the meal. The staff are very attentive and you have the option to sit on the deck or inside. Excellent value for money.
