Incredible service, fantastic food, gorgeous wine list in a beautifully cosy and quirky environment. This is a must visit when in Dullstroom. Be sure to book in advance as they are always chocka-block. Love this place- mussel starters and creme brûlée are fab ! Don’t...hesitate to book! Thanks to the hosts!More

Amazing experience. Little gem hidden in side road. Food was exceptional and a 5 star service. Good wine selection. Try the seafood tagliatele and for dessert the creme brule.

If you in Dullstroom you have to pop in for a meal. The food is amazing and service exceptional. My wife had the seafood pasta which was incredible that kind of melt in your mouth flavour. I had the lamb curry which took me on...a spice journey I am still dreaming about. If you want to go over the weekend book in advance as space is limited.More

I asked if they had a vegan option and the owner went straight to the kitchen and came back offering a bamboo Thai curry. My word. I can say with confidence that that was the best Thai curry that I have ever had. I was...completely blown away by the depth of flavour. I loved the no fuss attitude. I loved the complexity of flavours. I loved that it was healthy and I loved that it wasn’t an after thought dish. It truly was a spectacular experience. Thank you! I highly recommend others visit the establishment. It’s truly a gem!More

The decor and ambience was wonderful and the service was also excellent but the food was a little short of what I hoped for given the reviews and reputation. I was disappointed that the coffee was a pod machine rather than freshly ground and the...cheesecake was not a proper baked cheesecake. I would still go there again and perhaps make some different choices.More

Hello Anthony, many thanks for taking up time to review Mrs Simpsons. It is always appreciated to hear feedback from our customers. We use LAVAZZA coffee, which is of a good high quality and seems very popular amongst our guests. Our cheesecake is not advertised...More

We were visiting Dullstroom at an Estate just outside the town. All our previous visits to Mrs Simpson's have been really good/great. And this was no exception. The service was very attentive without being overpowering. The restaurant was full (it was a festival weekend in...Dullstroom) but there was no sense of being rushed or pressured to finish to make space for the next sitting. An excellent meal that met our requirements and requests for a variation to the menu items. The temperature outside was very cold but inside the restaurant the warmth of the ambiance and service and friendliness was outstanding. We have been before and we will go again when we are in Dullstroom.More

The host Brian is definitely one of the main reasons why people come back again. He really knows how to make one feels welcome. We had the Thai chicken which was delicious and tender and my husband had a delicious pork chop. We will definitely...visit again.More

I loved this restaurant. The atmosphere, Wallis, the very tasty food and excellent service. 10/10 The old shoes and photos against the walls create a cosy antique ambiance. I feel honored to have met the famous Wallis.
