Every time we stay in Robertson we pay a visit to Fraai Uitzicht as it has one of the better restaurants in Robertson. As usual we booked in advance as it is always booked but this time it was very quiet in the restaurant. Views from the terrace are always great. Food was nice but we had better at Fraai Uitzicht in the past. Especially the Wharthog carpaccio was nice. With a few bottles of springfield it was a very pleasant dinner.

This restaurant serves outstanding, different dishes every day. The food is home made, locally grown products are being used, they make sure of sustainability, herbs from the garden, great, attentive staff. Very friendly. This is a fabulous dining experience paired with delicious wines from this wine farm or the wine farms around Robertson.

We have come to this place for 10 years and return every year as this is the only place in Roberston we would ever say in. The restaurant offers amazing fine dining, staff is always welcoming and friendly. The service top notch. This is a very clean and quiet place where you can relax or take the two beautiful labs Bruno and Lola for a hike. Karl is knowledgeable about his wines and overall known as the "mad scientist" who loves to experiment with wines. Show you are interested and you can taste them or he might take you to the cellars. It's always a great experience. We love the chalets and outdoor showers. Will come back again next year and strongly recommend the place. Amazing breakfast as well! Only local products and produce and herbs from the garden. Amazing feeling for detail we well.

One of the highlights of this year's trip to South Africa. It's always popular and we book before leaving the UK. On this occasion the restaurant was candle lit due to power shedding and the weather unseasonable cool preventing us from dining on the stoop. The business must be congratulated on how well its adapted to having no electricity for periods of time on most days. Food as always was excellent, beautifully presented with great service. Albeit expensive!

We first visited here 15 years ago on our last trip to SA and were keen to visit again on our recent trip. When we booked to reserve a table, Karl got in touch to review the menu with us as we were the only booking that evening . The food was amazing and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The outlook on the gardens and vineyards can’t be beaten. But most of all - the host Karl is so welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely evening and can only hope that it won’t be another 15 years before we get to return again

Although a little pricey for local travellers the experience is exceptional. Interesting wines are paired with good food in a beautiful setting. Personal service and information given.

Delicious, high quality food beautifully presented. It is possible to have each course "matched" with an appropriate wine, which we found interesting and informative. Super service - and yummy puddings. Obviously a popular venue.

It is the second time we were staying at this beautiful place. This time for almost two weeks in one of their luxury cottages. No better place to relax and recharge with the help of this family owned winery. The food is excellent as well a the wine selection. Highly recommendable!

Almost Michelin standard and good advice 're wines limited choice for each course. International with a S.A. twist. Attractively presented. Sit outside if you can as inside can get noisy.

Hidden in the Klaasvoogds valley, this is a gem. Fine dining in Robertson, as you walk in the orange painting of Bosch strikes the ambiance with everything else matching the color. The menu is limited but perfect down to five options of starters and mains. Food deserves whatever best rating you can give it. Wine list is comprehensive with many older vintages available. Service is perfect.

Years ago this was a lovely restaurant, driven by two German man. A few years ago we visited it again and did not had a good experience, but we wanted to give it a new chance by visiting it this week at 2,30 in the afternoon. No specific plans, but we were thirsty and liked a lunch after visiting a few wine estates in the area. As soon a we four persons entered the place we were almost chased away! Why? It was 2,30 and they had done.....I could not believe my ears, there were almost no other guests and we would opted by something to drink if too late for lunch. No drinks, I am sorry was the answer by the lady who was in charge. What a contrast with every other address we have visited for the last 3 weeks in South Africa! Everywere you feel welcome and a big smile to great you and make you feel welcome. This was definitely the last time we tried fraai Uitsig! It is a pity because fraai Uitsig has everything to be an exceptional place, Everything except the bad attitude to welcome new paying guests from Europe.....

We stayed two night at this fantastic property. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We had breakfast and dinner both nights. The food was outstanding and perfectly paired with the wine. Definitely worth a return trip.
