My sense is that this restaurant is tired. While the hosts were friendly (quirky even), the decor and menu seem not to have changed in years. We sat inside in a fairly gloomy room. I suppose the decor may read as eccentric or artsy, but...More

Denise is a really lovely, quirky lady who made us incredibly welcome. Tiny, intimate, atmospheric restaurant with very simple home cooking. Don't expect crispy veg here, but they serve genuine boerekos at excellent prices.
And it is not licensed so you win there too :)
