Apart from the brilliant food, the owners and the staff are the best. In a time when going out is a luxury to many, they make you feel welcome, and they go out of their way to accommodate you and serve you the best food in the process. Jorge and his staff have pulled out all stops to put the client first. There’s a reason they are still filling tables even in these uncertain times. 10/10.

Once again, this places shines ' Living in the USA, home to Pizza) This place is amazing. Please ask for the Mark Farmer Pizza, no there is no Mark Farmer, My special, meat, Garlic, extra chilli and fresh Parmesan. Cold Amstel and daily newspaper. They also do the Best bloody Mary.

Saturday night treat whilst on holiday in self catering. Booked and needed to as this place is very busy. Excellent menu variety and choice - good prices too. I chose the Espartada and it was a huge portion of meat; tasty, moist and succulent and I ate every last morcel.
Definitely will return on my next trip to SA

Can you believe on a Wednesday evening and out of season, they were fully booked (probably find the load-shedding from 6pm helped at bit). Anyway the owner was very helpful and we only have a few minutes wait to get a table.
It is an unpretentious restaurant, with bare wooden tables but you can see the staff are very experienced and know many of their clients who they call by name - so well supported by locals. The food was excellent - good sized portions and cooked to perfection. We each had a pasta dish and Tiramisu for dessert. Lovely experience and will be back now that we are also locals!

This place never fails to satisfy ones palate. Meals always well prepared and presented. I had the margarita pizza and the spinach and feta ravioli in a mushroom sauce. This was simply divine. Service is excellent. It must be noted that the managers lead by example, checking on patrons, bringing meals to tables and also helping to clear up

Always great pizzas (thin and crispy with delicious toppings)and coffee here. We visit every year that we are in the area. Service always very good too. Should really try something other than pizza but they pizzas are so good.

we go there almost every Friday (except for summer). Jorge always finds us a table, because we come early and leave early. Better book. Their banting pizza is outstanding so is the spaghetti vongole!

We eat here fairly often- perhaps every week or two. It has a great atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly. Parking right outside. Great food, great drinks, sensible prices. Portions are big, so you might want to go for the half-size and save room for dessert???

A very chilled atmosphere, with it being a great meeting place for bikers (there was a huge table on the pavement packed with Bikers!)
Service was good, as were the pizzas, and it was good to see the owners walking around checking on tables

we stayed in Hout Bay for two months this winter and ate in this great little restaurant about 6 times, the pasta is superb particularly the lasagna which they offer in large and small portions. My wife and I are not big eaters and found the small individually cooked dish just the right size for us. The service was always first class and the price very reasonable, there is outside and inside seating,and the restaurant is very popular so its best to book a table. Highly recommended.

Every time we visit Hout Bay we make a point of visiting Casarrecio cor dinner and we are never disappointed. Lovely Italian food and great staff who know how to look after you !

Hidden gem, found the restaurant by accident. Had a very enjoyable meal with some quick and pleasant service. They operated thru load shedding which was a bonus.
