The staff & service was impeccable. The wine and food was outstanding. The décor and scenery could not have been better. What an amazing visual and gastronomic experience.

A gastronomic experience set in a magnificent venue and incredible art. This experience was amazing - the service at this restaurant was world class. The food was not just a sensation for the tastebuds, but for all the senses. The restaurant sits inside thr beautiful...Leeu estates where you will see magnificent gardens, sculpture and architecture. A must do if you are in the area.More

Setting and ambiance is so important to have a wonderful Christmas lunch at a restaurant. Everything was just perfect, food wine , the company of my family and my two lovely daughters. A lunch to remember.

We are fortunate to have enjoyed meals at some of SA’s top restaurants. One expects the food to be extraordinarily good, with flavours in particular delighting the senses. The food was very good but it was not exceptional. The service felt mechanistic, the wine pairing...good, not great, but again wine information shared mechanistically with no sense of passion for food or wine. It is a worthwhile experience but not the delight that we had hoped for or anticipated or even previously experienced at La Colombe. The setting is superb, but that is not why one goes to a restaurant.More

and it is really exceptional. However after having visited "La Colombe" in Constantia, this was a lesser experience and our first choice would be for "La Colombe". it is very much the same experience and the food is really excellent, the service is more spontaneous...than at "La Colombe" but we did not understand why the price was quite a bit more expensive than at "La Colombe" when we felt that "La Colombe" was more a special experience.More

The venue is absolutely stunning. With massive glass panels showcasing the immaculate wine farm and garden outside. I came during the day for the lunch menu and loved the views and sunlight streaking in. Despite all of this, the food was still the main star!...Loved every single serving and even for a golden ticket from the sweet trolley! See you guys soon!More

I have been to La Petite Colombe quite a few times, but sadly the last time I visited I was not very impressed with the level of service that myself and my partner received. I do not eat cheese/dairy and there was a cheese course...on the full chef's menu (which we went for) and no arrangements were made for me to have something else instead - a dish could have been taken from the vegan or vegetarian menu. Instead, I sat without a meal whilst my partner enjoyed the course. I really don't think theses acceptable when I am paying over R1000 p/person to dine. Also, whenever we wanted our water to be refilled, we had to wave our hands in the air to get someone's attention. We said numerous times to just leave the water on our table but no, they took it away and never came back to refill it. This is not the level of service that we are used to, and it sadly leaves a sour taste in our mouth. The level of service at La Colombe in Constantia is miles away from what we experienced at La Petite Colombe in Franschhoek. I also left a review after dining through the dineplan link we were sent, and nobody has bothered to respond yet.More

What an experience! From the moment we were greeted at the entrance we knew this was going to be special. Staff is amazing the entire evening was just WOW! We had the Chef’s Experience with the wine pairing. Absolutely the best way to go. Every...pairing was to perfection and the attention to detail was spectacular.More

There is a terrace in front and behind the restaurant, can't see why one couldn't sit out there for a drink. There is no wine tasting as a hotel rather than vineyard .

No dress code but smart or smart casual seemed to be the norm. Don't think you would feel comfortable arriving in shorts & flip flops.
