Absolutely amazing food! Can’t rate this place highly enough. We are going back next weekend just in case we miss out. The snacks and staters were the best we’ve ever had. We were a bit worried that it wouldn’t be good without the wine pairings...but the food is so good you don’t even need wine.More

This restaurant offers world class cuisine and a world class culinary experience. Should be rated as the best in Franschhoek. Accommodating all our dietary requirements as well as our kids. Excellent!

We arrived a little early for our Sunday lunchtime reservation but spent a few minutes meandering through the gardens which set a lovely tone for the rest of the meal. The Spring Menu is reasonably priced and exceptional value for money. Each dish manages to...captivate the senses and La Petite Colombe has struck gold with its choice of venue in Leeu Estate. The salmon main course as well as the Saldanha Bay oysters with apple & soy dressing were a particular highlight for me. And the dessert trolley, reminiscent of Willy Wonka’s fantasy world was a sweet ending to an amazing gastronomic adventure. 10/10 for service excellence from start to finish.More

As a frequent guest of la Colombe in Constantia Neck I was very curious how the sister restaurant should perform. For me and my friends this was the lunch we had never had before. We had the spring lunch experience with wine pairing consisting of...3 amuses so delicious. The 5 course menu and the staff was more than excellent. In short a lunch we will not forget and will stay in our memory. La petite Colombe is according to our opion better than here big sister.More

Our family had the pleasure of visiting this great restaurant this past weekend (21st November 2020) and we were just settling into the palate cleanser after the opening duck course when one of our party had a sudden medical issue. The on duty manager (Andrew)...was attentive and helpful and above all calm and collected. After calling the ambulance for us, he kept checking in that we were all ok. We unfortunately had to cut our dinner short, however, we will most certainly be getting in touch to visit there again soon as possible to finish what was a brilliant culinary experience.More

We were given the dining experience as a gift from our daughter - the staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable concerning the menu - we had the full menu with wine pairing and loved every minute - a definite must if you are in Franshoek

From the moment you walk into La Petite Colombe you know you are in for something special. The snack box you are presented with are so beautifully put together, and with each bite your soul is touched. When you are taken to the main dinning...area. The simplistic decor makes you feel at home and comfortable. With each course and associated wine pairing, you are taken to an unknown world filled with delicious delight and flavour. The experience of your salmon being cooked in front of you is amazing. There's attention to detail in every aspect of your dinning experience. Thank you to the team for making this an anniversary lunch that we will not forget.More

Had a blast at La Petite Colombe last night. World-class fine dining in a gorgeous setting. From the minimalistic decor to the stunningly extravagant food - it was a dinner we'll not soon forget. We opted for the Chef's experience with the wine flight. I'd...definitely recommend going for the wine pairing as well, as it contains some rare wines and interesting choices. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the service outstanding.More

The wait is over. Finally LPC has a venue that is worthy of its food. + Bubbly Marion is a shoo-in for hostess and Rylan, the sommelier, knows exactly when you want your glass topped up. The only thing I'm not sure about is charging...for tap water (even if it's filtered). They say you can't bring your own wine but they don't say anything about water ...More

There is a terrace in front and behind the restaurant, can't see why one couldn't sit out there for a drink. There is no wine tasting as a hotel rather than vineyard .

No dress code but smart or smart casual seemed to be the norm. Don't think you would feel comfortable arriving in shorts & flip flops.
