Lovely place with lots of character and delicious food. Reasonably priced for the area and good value for money.

I want there for a hen party and we had the set menu. It was fine, but I thought it was expensive for what we had. The waitress put the drinks down and forgot about them, then disappeared. My daughter had to fetch her drink...from where it was left.More

Wonderful to be back dining at this fabulous restaurant in Franschhoek. We missed our trip to SA last year because of the pandemic but it was so lovely to be back here this year. A few changes due to the lockdown but the food and...service are as good as ever. We love to sit on the front veranda and watch the sun setting over the mountains whilst enjoying really good food beautifully cooked and served. The staff are lovely ….so friendly and professional. We were greeted warmly after two years. We had the mussels on two occasions…they were perfect in a lovely sauce. The duck is gorgeous served with choices of potatoes and vegetables. Lots of great salads and much much more. We look forward to returning next year to our favourite table!More

The place is nice. The food wad good and so was the service. A nice place to eat out with family and friends on the main road.

You have to reserv a table for a dinner. look in the afternoon what are the recommendations of the boss .... they are gone quickly

Great Bisto, nothing exciting but just great flavours. Fantastic meat and chips. It is a nice change if you don’t want to do fine dining every day.

French connection is such a stalwart in amongst haute cuisine so it has done good to last. But I won't go back again. Even the hasselback potatoes were dry on the outside let along the duck. Precooked likely earlier in the day waiting for a...dinner customer. Not greatMore
