The first evening we ate here it was quiet and the food and service was excellent! Their burgers are so so yummy! However the second night we came back it was packed and the staff just couldn't handle the service and amount of people. They...got our orders wrong and the food came 1 hour 3min late. Baring in mind we waited almost am hour just to be seated as well. Other than the service the food is great!More

One takeaway and one sit down meal during my trip. Both meals were excellent. However the staff seemed disinterested and not very warm, particularly the manager who walked around frowning?

We had the oxtail which was their specialty and it was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent with fresh fruits, typical breakfast offerings

The restaurant was fully booked, so we opted for takeout as there was an outage in the area and this was the only restaurant that had a generator. However the service was terrible, I was told to come back in an hour for my food,...and having kids to endure this was really not a good experience. The food was ok.More

As locals we have frequented this establishment regularly over the past few years always prepared that the food as well as the service was below average to say the least, but was ok to have a beer and watch Rugby on TV. However yesterday afternoon...was shocking. Firstly, whilst sitting at the bar one of the supervisors was explaining to a co worker about a female client sitting outside asking him to move and open up an umbrella at their table because of the strong sunshine. He obviously thought this was way beneath him and made it quite clear to his co worker which I thought was damn rude! This whilst customers were sitting at the bar and listened to the whole conversation ! Then came my turn . I decided to order a "steak/egg and chips" which I did , but then received an urgent telephone call requiring me to leave immediately. I informed the bartender who took my order two minutes prior to my call.As I wanted to leave 10 minutes later the food arrived and I bartender that I cancelled the meal within 2 minutes after placing the order. Next moment the chef came barging out of the kitchen demanding to know what my problem was and before I could even explain my side of the story , he demanded that I pay for the meal! I did then pay for the meal but was upset as I had cancelled the meal within 2 minutes , but was furious as I did what I had to do cancelling within 2 minutes and then have to listen to this "manager's " attitude! Obviously I will never return to this establishment and make it known to clients intending to visit there ! The owner needs to realize that he should employ staff who SOME degree of PR skills and whilst he is on to that to give the whole establishment a good clean up , replace or wash your curtains and fix the broken light fittings! Expensive lesson in life is that they actually need clients and not that clients need them!More

We've been coming to the nearby Timeshare Resort over the years and always make a point of it to have some of our meals here and they have never disappointed us. Beautiful setting next to a dam with a beautiful view of the majestic Drakensberg...Mountain. Very relaxing atmosphere.More

Food is well presented, tasty and well priced. Lunch menu has a wide variety to choose from. Restuarant is clean and child friendly.
