My family loved dining at Ocean Basket Jeffrey's. The platter for two and their sushi was nicely prepared and was a little bit more than my expectation and my kids loved the environment too.

When it is that time of the month when you are tired and not in the mood for making your own food, it is a must to visit Ocean Basket, Jeffreys Bay to relax. Their food is excellent and I always enjoy their plate for...two. The staff are always friendly and nearby when needed. I will recommend them to all.More

Best cost-benefit meal of the entire trip! Platters are huge so no need to go wild on the order. Can be busy at night and service pace may be affected, but nothing serious

The food is mediocre and probably only worthwhile on a Sunday evening when all the other restaurants are closed. I had Rosti that was oily enough to rebuild an engine. Food was cold and semi-tasty. Prices compared to restaurants in the area do not compete...at all. You are better of getting a take-away from around the corner. The waitress serving us was quite fun and made it nice for us even though there was nothing to entertain the little ones with. I'll be back to see if it improved..More

A good place for seafood lunch or dinner. Went 4 times while in J'bay. Only on one occasion did the server get my order wrong. I got what I ordered but the bigger version. The ocean bite dish is awesome. Loved the calamari and the...klipsfish. Tasty food and service was good too.More

I have always visited ocean basket on my trips to south Africa. This one was not good. Nice location on the beach front good for sun set. That's really where the good stuff ends. The staff were miserable and unfriendly and just did not seem...like they wanted to be there. The food Was below par. Rice was undercooked and the rest of the food was really greasy and tastless. Really disappointed.More
