I visited Tarts and Roses with my mom for her birthday and was appaled at how much they charged us for two slices of milktart and two milkshakes. Milkshakes were tasteless and milktart had clots in it. We paid, regardless, then went to Pick n...Pay next door to buy a WHOLE milktart - 3 times less expensive than 1 SLICE at Tarts and Roses. Horrified localMore

We had great cappuccino with fresh cream, strong hot chocolate, huge pieces of milktart and delicious apple pie. We visit every December and the quality and friendly service stays the same. Thank you.

The little cosy eatery is in the perfect place, within a mall, for a quick cuppa to break the shopping day. It has a great menu selection and the food has that touch of home-cooking. Great service, clean and well-priced.

we had a pleasent afternoon tea at this restaurant but be aware the cake portions are huge and you can order half slices which were still big but all good

In the midst of busy Mall, you can hide with a good cuppa and something sweet (Milktart being the best!).

Masterton's coffee, really tasty cakes ( useful concept to offer half portions) and efficient service although there was a big birthday celebration going on, made for a pleasant teatime. The apple crumble and the lemon meringue were delicious!
