Went for lunch (without reservations). Were offered a table without any issues. Had the livers peri peri with roasted bread. Was very good. Ordered prawns and chips and the kingklip as the 2 mains. The portions were big and well prepared. The location is excellent...and service is good.More

As seafarers we travel for a living and get to eat some spectacular food along the way... This restaurant took a ranking at the best three course meal I have ever had! From the delicious mussel starter to a medley of kabeljou (cape cod) and...prawns- succulent and cooked to perfection... to the chocolate volcano and cheesecake dessert... We were completely blown away! Our waitron Renier was the cherry on the cake with his phenomenal service and menu advise. Overall a sublime meal and a MUST for all who come to Jefferys BayMore

What a beautiful place to sit and admire the view. We had a lovely waitress on the 28th Feb when we were there. We watched while people and children alike walked around on the sand and rocks. The water trickled out to sea from a...stream alongside the restaurant. This is not a cheap place, but I am sure if you eat here it will be amazing cuisine. See you next time!More

The Wlaskipper is the type of venue where your body catches up with your soul. All your senses are fed when you relax at the beachfront venue. The food is outstanding! They cater for all tastes and budgets. The service is great and friendly. We...got engaged at The Walskipper and it really was a very special occassion. Kick of your shoes and dig your toes into the sea sand while the fresh breeze from the ocean blows over you and your tastebuds are tantalized by the amazing smells from the kitchen. The wine list is also good!More

This restaurant is directly on the beach. The quality of the food is great. The service is outstanding. We were given a table, so we could supervise the kids on the beach while having a drink.

We are pensioners from Jeffreys Bay who eat at Walskipper on a regular basis every 2 months. I always book our "special" table near the sea when we go and enjoy our evening out. So sorry that the evening I booked for us and asked...for our table , which was not booked when i phoned, was decided by the NEW MANAGER to change our booking and give our table to someone else. Really disgusted when we arrived to get a table right at the back and not even near to the sea and see other guests enjoying the view we were used to. The rice has also changed to plain white dry rice , where we were used to really delicious yellow rice with spice and flavour with our calamari and hake. Looks like shorts cut are going to be made by new management to make more money????? Not good for your customers!!!!More

Walskipper is a very special place. The atmosphere is great so close to the ocean with the fire place lit up the fresh coffee and bread you can smell. The food is just top quality always with good service all year round. It can get...very busy in holiday times so booking is a good idee. Its also not the cheapest place to go eat, the prices are expensive on some dishes but delicious! If you have small kids be carefull as the ocean is very close.More
