Ok I don't usually give 5 stars as those that follow my reviews know. Went for dinner and the food was excellent. So much that we went back the next night as well. Service was great. I had the broiled crab cakes and my wife...had the Chicken la Nina. Would highly recommend. Night 2 I had the flounder Italiano. Don't forget to get the Cinnamon raisin rice pudding.More

This was my second visit. The food and service was so good the last time that we had to come back. I am Italian and my Grandmom could COOK. I'm sorry Grandmom, but this Italian food is the best I've ever had! The pesto is...so amazing that we knew instantly that we were in the right place. Then the calamari and the mussels, and the bisque etc... so delicious. We had a large party and everyone was blown away. The chicken parm, NY strip, crab gnocchi were faves. Our first waitress, Ally, was awesome and last night we had Preston who was equally amazing. The owners are so warm and inviting and the food will not leave you disappointed. They also offer call ahead or reservations for parties 8 and up.More

First time back in 3 years and Duffinetti's continues to be our favorite restaurant in the Wildwoods. The fresh Italian bread and dipping oil blend is a signature element here and truly awesome. You really don't need an appetizer with this delicious start. She had...veal with homemade linguini, I had crab cakes with fresh zucchini and sweet potatoes. The veal was tender and tasty, the 2 crab cakes huge and heavy on the crab. Outstanding!! The coconut ricotta cheesecake for dessert finished off a truly memorable meal. Great service staff, always a friendly greeting from the hostess. Eating here truly is a must-do when in the Wildwoods. Consistently excellent!More

We had a reservation for 8pm but didnt get seated till 9pm. That kind of stunk but they were short staffed so they were doing the best that they could. They service was kind of slow but I'm thinking it was because of the staffing...issue. They were out of a few things on their menu which was frustrating but what we did end up eating was amazing. The short ribs were to die & i def recommend trying the lobster ravioli. We would go back again.More

I am very picky about Italian food and this was excellent. The service was flawless. The meatballs were moist flavorful and light. Highly recommended. The Gnocchi with blue crab was superb. The Gnocchi was very light and not paste. The pink sauce was excellent. Tasted...the chicken marsella. It was very thin and delicious. Had the tiramisu for desert great. It is homemade and is perfect. Would go back here anytime! The dipping oil for the bread was excellent. I would prefer authentic brick oven bread.More

We visited Duffinetti's on a very busy Saturday night. The hostess was very kind and accommodating; our server was attentive and knowledgeable. We even enjoyed the entertainment, a lounge act fitting for the 70's, The menu is pricy, and for the prices they charge, I...expected better. The Osso Bucco was so overwhelmed by thyme, giving it an undercurrent flavor of dirt. Even the vegetables and risotto on the side acquired the same flavor. It also should fall off the bone, while ours required a knife. The gnocchi and crab was tasty; the gnocchi was light, but the sauce was heavy, more of a thick, cream sauce with some red added. Lastly, the bronzino was fine. The skin on the bottom was not crispy, but remained thick, inedible. The accompaniments to this dish were tasty. The restaurant pulled in an average rating for its service, not its food. This spot is not worth a revisit for us. The high cost of mediocre food is not acceptable.More

The worst veal parm I’ve ever had next to a frozen dinner. Tough with a slice of cheese and lame marinara sauce as well as being overpriced. I don’t understand how this place is rated as highly as it is.

They do take reservations because we have done so every time that we go down to Wildwood. They are really good about keeping them even if you are running late, although we usually let them know if we are more than a half... More
