After paying $15-$20/entree at numerous New England restaurants for uninspired food, we were happy to come across Sunrise Shack. I had a tangy, creamy French toast with mascarpone/ricotta and raspberries, and my husband had a really moist, flavorful blue cheese burger with bacon. Our entrees...were $10-$12. Only complaint is that the French toast serving size was on the small side, and I get full quickly. Server was very nice. Sat at shaded picnic table outside.More

Delicious eggs, pancakes, French toast. (My favorite: the "Wicked" - eggs with corned-beef hash and corn bread.) Get there by 8 a.m., so you won't have to wait long. (Compare to the endless lines at the mediocre places right in North Conway.)

We went here for breakfast on the recommendation of our good friends. We went on a Sunday morning and it was busy. We waited an hour to get in and 1/2 an hour for our food. The food was good and the service was adequate.

Great service, excellent menu and unmatched quality along with great breads and coffee. The best corned beef hash and poached eggs.

Had a 45 min wait during late morning on a Tuesday, I don’t hold that against them because this area of NH has limited places to eat. Waitress was friendly and attentive even as she was busy. Food sounded delicious on the menu but took...way too long and then really wasn’t all that good. The eggs were ok, cooked like we asked, but not a lot of flavor. The toast was cold and dry. The potatoes (I can’t call them hash browns) were barely warm and tasted just like you sliced a potato and started eating it. The sausage was in a patty form and was kind of dry, I’m not sure how you dry out a greasy meat like sausage, but they’ve perfected it here. The pancakes were run of the mill and the French toast had a nice sweet flavor that I thought was good but my wife didn’t care for. I gave them an extra star because they use real maple syrup, which was very good. Prices were fair for breakfast these days. We did see some patrons next to us enjoying their breakfast bowls, so maybe stick with those if you stop by. I don’t think I’d visit again.More

This is one of the best breakfast places I've been to in a long time! It is casual, friendly even at its most hectic, and the food is fresh and different. Loved this place. Went there 2x in 5 days! Yes, there will likely be...a wait, but the line moves faster than you think and it is worth it!More

What a find - nestled between art 16 and the woods. Wonderful ambience inside and out. We ate amongst the trees outside and both had omelets even though it was 1:30. Breakfast all day. Though we didn't have lunch food, we saw some amazing burgers...coming by our high top table. The onion rings also looked great. The people who work here must go through training by The Four Seasons. They make you feel like they are delighted you're here. We WILL be back. A gem!More

We stepped up to the outside window to order and picked up our food at the other outside window. Although the restaurant is off the main road, there is an outside seating area with a forest in the background. It looked quite peaceful, but when...we were there, it was too cold to sit outside.More

We have driven by this cafe and it has always been busy so we thought we would stop in. The Cafe is very fun, very different, and good (love the music). I had the sunrise breakfast bowl, it was quite delightful. Our check was $37...for 2 people, a little pricey. It was fun to say I went, but not sure if I would go back. The service was amazing, the staff extremely friendly!More

Had sandwiches outside; they were fine but not outstanding for the price. Service was good and they were Covid-19 conscientious.

Yes, it is fine for kids. There's not a lot of space to walk around because the tables are close together, but it is kid friendly.
