Any place in town for Valentine's Day? I chose my favorite Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas (since I moved here in 1975) CHAPALA'S . It's my happy place! Service is great, food is so reasonably priced and the chile relleno is better than ever! Whenever...I go out to eat Mexican I always order chile relleno to compare it to Chapala's. It's not overly eggy and the cheese melts in your mouth.More

Nice Mexican restaurant close to a strip mall. I stop when going to the bank, nice crowd here, noise level is low and the service is good. Had the tamale plate to go, service was fast since it was after the lunch crowd and the...food was very good. Will go back again.More

Clean, well organized, safe. Bathroom immaculate. No mask, no entry. These folks are being safe, and my wife & I appreciate it! It’s a classy place and it’s comfortable. The cheese enchiladas and beef tacos were very tasty, well made. Lots of choices on their...menu.More

This has been a favorite place for my wife and I as well as many friends. The margaritas remain very good. Recently however the quality of the food has really suffered. In my last 3 visits I have had a tamale that was dried out...from freezer burn on one end. The next visit a found a chicken leg bone in my beef tamale. On my last visit I decided to play it safe and ordered two ground beef tacos. Why I found cut up potato in each taco I can't explain. I need to find my new favorite place.More

The experience was average in every respect except the food, which was worse than average. My dish was extremely bland and had a peculiar flavor I couldn't identify. I didn't finish it. I have no intention of returning, even for a friend get-together.

Chapala's has been a Las Vegas institution for a long time. They have wonderful salsas, a mild one and one with a little heat and both are generously served with a bowl of chips when you sit down. The service is always top notch. Their...mole is made the old fashioned way and has a great depth of flavor. One of my favorite dishes is their ground beef enchiladas that have potatoes and carrots in them as well as the ground beef. Great place and great prices.More

Get away from the strip for some great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. Nothing fancy decor wise, but great service and no wait.

Had lunch there for the first time. Authentic Mexican design inside, friendly staff, clean dining area and restrooms. Lunch special was Shrimp Tacos (2) with rice and beans. Very tasty, good rice and beans. Served with a white I guess it was a dip, ehhh...on the dipping sauce. $13.95 and I was outta there.More

The food was not what I expected. I had Huevos Rancheros; however, one egg was broken and covered with a lot of sauce so as to cornicle it. They were still good but they should have replaced the broken egg with a good one. The...other thing was my water glass. When empty the wait staff keep walking past and not refilling. We asked to have it refilled; however they never did. We may never visit this place again.More

A disappointing experience. The margarita was sweet cheap lime concentrate, the nachos soggy and dripping in a nasty sauce that was inedible, and the chicken tasted like pork and 5 days old. Not worth the money and the service dismal.
