Ate here on Taco Tuesday!

I ate the VERY best tacos I have ever had in my life here. The staff was AWESOME! The place was kind of in the middle of no-where! Great value for your money. Just don't order 4 tacos like I did unless you are very hungry!

Great afternoon

What a great place to spend an afternoon. Great atmosphere and wonderful cocktails, You just might want to try one of Kelly's Bloody Marys. The staff was great, our bartender Kelly was awesome, and the locals were a lot of fun, It is a must if you are in the are in the area. We will definitely go back for lunch.

Just missed Brunch

I have driven by this place a bunch of times, but never had time to stop. So, I went out of my way on a recent visit. I was hoping for brunch, but missed it by about 30 minutes, so had lunch instead. Fine bar food menu.

Just plain awful. AVOID

Warning: Avoid this place! Wow. Let's start with they had no pico de gallo on Taco Tuesday. The red sauce they served as "salsa" was stewed tomatoes. The burgers, while handmade, were dainty and delicate for a whopping 7 to 10 dollars. No American cheese. However, the molly b damn sandwich orderered at our table was deemed acceptable and even called tasty. No one else enjoyed out meal in a party of 4. The Loaded Nachos were cold, the veggies on top were raw and also cood, the only cheese a liquid goo that clearly came from a can. Amazingly sad they couldn't even put it in the oven for a quick warm. Their sides are very limited and a bag of "chips" is doritos, cheetos, fritos....no actual potatoes chips. Just disappointment after let down after disappointment. And we won't discuss the poor quality margaritas that may have had a bottle of alcohol waived neared them, once, maybe. We will not be back, sorry.

Fun little Saloon

Stopped in for breakfast but it is only served on Saturday and Sunday. Loved the decor of the building and free pool!! Ended up playing a bit of pool and having lunch. Very friendly bartender.

Amazing Steak Dinner

This place doesn’t look like the Ritz BUT the food is great. Their steak dinners are a masterpiece..excellent cuts of beef, salad, baked potato and veggies. I took half f my dinner home as they are very generous with portions.

Friday night steak dinner at the wild coyote

Very rustic and pleasant surroundings with staff who are very attentive and friendly. Everything is cooked outside over an open grill / Flame. The food is wonderful. There's a pool table in the bar the whole facility is family friendly and it's a beautiful drive out here

Great food, great atmosphere

Stopped by on my way through to have a bite to eat and a beer. I was really surprised at good the food was. The service was great and friendly and the overall atmosphere was great. I’m definitely stopping back by next time I’m through Thompson.

Excellent food and service!

My son-in-law recomended this place, especially for the drink called a Caeser. It was the best bloody mary I have ever had! My husband had the chicken fried steak, big pieces, but ever so tender. He said it was the best he had ever had. I had the turkey and avacodo sandwich on the mexican bread. Very good! Waitress was wonderful, they were busy, but always kept our drinks refilled. Definately will be back!!

A fun place to eat

This wood interior was spotless. We were there for lunch. Each sandwitch was named for a famous western figure such as Wild Bill Hicock, Bufflelo Bill. Good meal pleasant attmospher.

Great homemade food!!

You won't find "just bar food" here. Great burgers and sandwiches on homemade bread. Everything has a healthful twist and is homemade. The BEST chicken fried steak and incredible meatballs. Open for lunch, and open a few days for breakfast. Off the beaten path, but worth seeking out.

Best food in the area

I have never been served a bad meal at the Wild Coyote. Nor have I left there without having enough food. Word of advice, if you order the Chicken Fried Steak, you better be really hungry or prepared to share it with someone. It literally takes up the whole platter. My husband and I split one and the kitchen plated it for us on two separate plates. It still took up the entire plate and neither my husband or I could eat all of it. My personal favorite is the Molly B Damned sandwich. This is also best split with someone or you will be miserable if you try to eat it all! They grill steaks on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Mine was grilled to perfection and tasted great. I am not normally a steak eater, but the aroma was too good to pass up. We have been in the Wild Coyote many times this summer and have never been served watered down drinks as a previous reviewer claimed. My husband loves the iced down pitchers for beer...says its the coldest beer in Montana! The owner and staff are all fantastic. We will miss this place when we leave Montana shortly.

Watered down drinks, slider size overcooked burgers

Waiter took our order and neverasked about sides. For a burger they did not have fries or potato chips, they only had potato salad or a green salad. We all got watered down alcoholic drinks. They seems like a local bar hangout than a real business. The burgers were small and overcooked.
