It has been some time since we have visited this Restaurant. I thought maybe it was not even in existence anymore. Staying at the Crystal Towers again, it is so easy just to pop in at the Knife. It was very much still going and...even with the virus situation, there were still quite a few hungry people. They have all kind of ribs and they are also known for that. Ours were perfect, smoked, melt-in-the-mouth served with a lovely sauce. I can definitely recommend this. Sevice was also good.More

After living in Cape Town nearly 6 months, I’ve been shocked at how good the steak is here. Id never had a bad steak, until i tried knife. I went here with four colleagues and while the ambience and service was up to par, its...hard to give a steakhouse a good review if they cant cook a steak. I ordered the 500g bone in rib eye medium rare, and it arrived medium well at best, but mostly well done. After most of the table had finished, the manager finally came over to see if everything was ok. She noticed i hadn’t eaten my steak and i simply commented that it was way too overdone and dry. I wasn’t going to wait another 30 minutes and have the entire table wait for me to get a new steak, but overall just avoid this place. As the title says, this is my first bad steak in cape town, plenty of other options. The steak was so far above medium rare i couldnt eat more than a few bites.More

Lively restaurant with a good menu. Service is pleasant, prompt and attentive. We chose the sirloin steak and lamb shank, both delicious. Good wine list. Recommend.

Restaurant next to Crystal Towers hotel, great menu, delicious food and friendly service. Only thing that let it down was the seating was a bit on the shabby side but the overall decor was fabulous

Wow, Knife on the outside looks too posh to just go and relax, one will expect white table cloths and silk napkins, however, we experienced a warm welcome and nice chilled atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed simple but delicious burgers and cocktails. The Kudu Burger is one...for your bucket list. The waitor, Richard, so soft spoken and eligant, what a gentlemen.More

When in South Africa you have to go for meat. Steaks are very good cooked, cocktails are great, also some options for vegetarians.

Enjoyed dinner on a Saturday evening at this awesome restaurant with awesome and friendly staff. Highly recommend the fillet steak (250g) with broccoli/cheese + peppercorn sauce. Quality of the meal and presentation was above average. Broccoli (decent portion) is served in a cast iron server....Note that it is extremely hot and waiter omitted to warn us. While the place was not busy at this this time, we felt our waitress could have been more attentive. Quite impressive wine menu which includes some specials (happy hour). Would certainly recommend this restaurant with it rather reasonable prizes.More

The setting was nice with very friendly staff. The food was good too. It is located in the same building as my hotel, Marriotts Hotel Crystal Palace.
