My favorite place to wander into during True/False Film Festival. I usually get a cup of hot tea and a few baklava flavors. They are always delicious!

I've been to this store before. I order on the phone saying "Hi I'd like to make an order for pickup" I say what my order is and then finish the phone order with "Thank you so much". I then walk to pick up my...order, stand in a short line waiting. When I get up to the counter I simply say what I always say when picking up an order "Pick up for Jon?" The man at the counter then proceeds to tell me how its rude to just come in here and order him around without saying please. I always say this same thing and then when they hand me my order I ALWAYS say "Thank you so much" I've been here multiple times saying the same thing and never had an issue before? I just felt a bit ridiculous and embarrassed that I was called out for my politeness when I can't see how I was rude in any way. After I paid for my food he snarkily said "Thank you for your business" as if I was the person that was being rude. I ordered politely on the phone, waited in line, said I was here to pick up my food, and was lectured on politeness for no reason. I'm never going back after that. It's a shame because I liked the food hereMore
This is a coffee bar for men with class. It stands up to its name and reputation. Trust me, whether you stay in to chat in the library or return to your bunker for a heavy day of trading, you will be fully in the...coffee zone. This is where all the dads, high volume traders, and local intellectual crowd comes for their bit of java and relief.More
If only the coffee lived up to the service and the beautiful space, it was served in. Please note that if this review were based on our service, I would have given it 5 stars. The staff were friendly, very helpful, and the interior was...equally stunning. You place your order at a beautiful wood bar set against an old brick wall. However if coffee is listed in your name, then you need to make sure and do one thing correctly. I ordered a drip and my wife a cold brew, both turned out to be very disappointing. The drip coffee tasted scorched, not dark and robust just scorched. The cold brew tasted like it was my drip coffee from the day before poured over ice, not something that should be classified as cold brew. I would like to return to try the food, but until then these are my thoughts.More
Strong coffee and amazing foods but most of all baklava based items including walnut or apricot baklava and other amazing pastries. Also humus and salad items make this a great food and coffee stop
I don’t drink coffee. Mediterranean food dominates a large menu. Order at the counter and food is then prepared. It appears to be a 2-man operation: register and cook, so you might stand in line, but it moves pretty quick. I was with a small...group and we all liked the food, which you pick up yourself. Real plates and utensils, and you bus your own table, which are mostly 2-seaters. It is different. The food is good.More
Charged us for a full Vietnamese coffee when asked for a small sample size cup to add some sweetness to the bitter coffee that they served us. Make sure to double-check your ticket before paying! I contacted the store and informed them of the issue...and they never got back to me. Sad to say that this place has been going downhill over the last couple of years. It used to be my favorite Mediterranean food stop, but I think I will go a block down the street to a place (Olive Cafe) with better prices, better service, and possibly better food.More
My go to breakfast and coffee spot!! The Omelette deluxe is so healthy and filling. Also can’t live without the rocket fuel best coffee in town!!
Coffee Zone has the best coffee in Columbia. People think about it for coffee, but not food. Their gyros and gyros salad are outstanding. Omelettes very good. You can't miss.
Seriously. The Greek Salad Deluxe is incredible and the Turkish Coffee is divine!! I love the chill vibes and great food at Coffee Zone. They also have lots of yummy treats to try. Coffee Zone is also a good meet up spot. Not usually over...crowded and although it is close to campus and downtown, it still feels slightly off the beaten path. Highly recommended!More
One of my favorite spots all four years of college (and after). Uniformly friendly welcome by the baristas. The space is quiet, relaxing, and spacious. It never feels crammed or unfriendly like some other places in town. Great food for a healthy lunch or breakfast....The Mediterranean omelet is a solid, cheap breakfast. I love their roasts–cinnamon, vanilla–which never taste bitter or like fake flavoring. As a bonus: best music in town. Great for working, writing, or a chill coffee date spot.More
This is a very cute coffee/lunch place in the District near Mizzou campus. The coffee was very good - definitely recommend.
A coffee shop with good coffee, some treats and you can also get a full meal here as well. The atmosphere is what I love about this coffee shop
Hubby and I went for a Saturday afternoon lunch. I had the Deluxe Greek salad with Gyro meat and hummus. Hubs had Deluxe Gyro with Tanziki sauce. Both were freshly made in front of our eyes with beautiful produce and thick tasty gyro meat. Received...our food promptly. Definitely recommend if you are looking for healthy Mediterranean food!More
I haven't actually had their food, just their coffee. But the atmosphere is a lovely little coffee shop, and the baklava in the case looks heavenly. You can get sandwiches here.
