My husband and I after a day of sightseeing in Plymouth stumbled on this quaint Italian Bistro. The atmosphere was amazing. The staff were great. I felt we were transported to trattoria in Italy. The food was incredible. This is not a place most tourist...would know about, but it is worth finding if you plan to visit Plymouth, Mass. we give it a top rating.More

Great restaurant...family has been coming here for years and we like some of the new additions to the menu. One small gripe. The wine list. The loss of Kendall Jackson. Please bring it back! Lol!

Lets start off by saying I went to their web site to see the menu then when we got thee the outside looks dark kinda dirty looking not inviting at all. When you open the door your greeted by a curtian to help keep the...wind entering the restaurant. The server greeted us was friendly took our drink order and sent out waitress over, I wished he had stayed nothing friendly about her, She talked very low so I had to ask her to repete what was in the soup. My friend ordered the seafood risotto and she didn't like it because it was drownding in sauce. My other friend got the clams over pasta and he loved his dinner and salad. I had made up my mind before I got there that I wanted the seafood lasagna but the on line menu was years old never change, So, I ended up with the seafoos stew and a chicken dish in a white sauce with walnuts, carrots and potato. I had to lol when I saw the veggies. It was one baby red bliss potato and two shavings of a carrot. For the price of dinner I don't think I got my money's worth, So to wrap this up; between the outside of the building, the on line line menu being years old, the sour puss waitress, and small portions for dinner, I won't be going back, there are too many other and nicer options to choose from. Its too bad because there are not many Italian restaurants around Plymouth. I also read other reviews of this place atmosphere and cramped seating doesn't bother people. Some even called it a gem. I wish I experienced that.More

This is a gem…! Every course was fantastic and the menu was all inclusive! Very European feel and the service was excellent. It’s small, seats about 30 people, and the staff is experienced and f.

You wouldn't think much of this place as you go by, but they serve wonderful food and a killer tiramisu! Recommend reservations as it is a small place.

We have been going here for about 15 Years and I did not think it could get any better but last night it did. The prosciutto wrapped in veal was the best that I ever had and the sauce was to die for. The dinner...prices are also extremely reasonable.More

This is a small place that doesn't pretend to be anything else. They are all about the food. They use top shelf ingredients and they stay true to Tuscan cooking practices. This is one of those places where once you've been there you will remember...how good the meal was.More

Had reservation on a Saturday night with friends. The place was filled and service was a little slow, but allowed for leisurely conversation between wine, salad and dinner. All of the food was excellent and the waitress was pleasant even though she was busy. The...place is small so if you don't like tight places, it may not be for you. We were seated in a booth, and therefore was not an issue for us. Would happily go back as the food was awesome and the prices reasonable.More

Food was authentic and well prepared however the restaurant is too small for comfort. My chair was tucked in to the table when we approached but there was literally 12” to back it up. The person behind me was unwilling to pull their chair in...so we had to move the table back in the other direction which left very little room on the other side. Just too little space to fit the 10 tables they have to seat their clientele. Hopefully they will be able to move to a new location soon.More

We were in Plymouth for a British car show. Tuscany Tavern was one of our advertisers. Since we like to support those who support us, we sought out this restaurant. It was wonderful! It’s a small and cozy place. Joseph greeted us warmly and throughout...the evening Mark was attentive and gracious. Clearly there were recognized regulars having dinner, but Mark and Joseph treated us as if we also were familiar friends. We had spaghetti puttanesca and veal cutlet with eggplant parmigiana. Both were excellent. And what could be better for a finish than seasonal pumpkin cheesecake accompanied by a perfect cup of coffee!? We definitely will return next year!More

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. Food is amazing and the prices are good. The chicken saltimbocca is to die for with a rich creamy sauce. I like most dishes on the menu. Every day they have unique specials and most of...their soups made fresh daily are top notch. It’s a small place so I recommend a reservation. You will not be disappointed.More

If you're interested in an authentic Italian restaurant then Tuscany Tavern is your spot! Small, intimate place with open kitchen. The ambience is wonderful, the staff is excellent, and the food is among the very best I've had. alive this restaurant.

This was a last minute night out. We picked up our daughter from work and searched TripAdvisor in hopes of finding someplace new in the area. What a nice surprise to have found this hidden gem! To be honest, our first thought upon driving up...was to change our mind and we said “we are here and it has great reviews so let’s try it” so glad we did. This place reminded me of a small North End restaurant. Dinner was delicious! I had the pasta carbonara and my husband had Frutti di Mare ( lol my daughter is the worst eater ever.. pasta with butter only everywhere). All of our dinners were excellent. Service and atmosphere was also wonderful and we definitely will be returning soon!More
