This use to be one of our favorite spots, however I think there has been a change in ownership or mgt, but something has gone terribly wrong. The quality and cooking of the food is suffering. We ordered egg roles and the meat was raw...inside, spring rolls and they were so full of lettuce and noodles they tore open. I wouldn’t have written this review if it just happened once but this is the second time. Very disappointing.More
Ok food. I've had better. I asked for summer rolls with no pork and the guy laughed and told me no. Mind you they are next to a halal place in a diverse neighborhood.
I just ate my pho but their broth was pretty bland.... Needless to say I wasn't impressed with their food or service. I work in the area and don' bother to go there anymore. Coworkers stopped going as well.More
Wanting something quick, easy, and tasty after our original Friday night dinner plans fell through, I thought of Phubs for carryout.
The online ordering process was nice and easy. My husband arrived at 7:15, when it said the order would be ready, and they just...got finished packing everything. He says checkout was quick and painless.
Our order was 100% accurate. The spring rolls are to die for. I could've had several orders of that alone and had that for my meal. I ordered the citrus chicken salad, which is not a boring salad. It was delightfully filling. Barely had to use any dressing.
My husband enjoyed his bulgogi banh mi, and my toddler liked his chicken nuggets. Since the pandemic, we have strived to visit as many small business as possible, and this is on our list. Normally, we tend to frequent Phubs during the winter for their big bowls of pho, but they're truly a year-round favorite.More
My husband and I ordered carry out from here during the coronavirus. We ordered online and they brought it to our car. We arrived a few minutes early and our order was ready upon arrival. I had a small bowl of pho along with the...bulgogi sliced steak banh mi sub. It was just the right amount of food and absolutely delicious. My husband had a kid veggie sub that he really enjoyed. To drink, I had a Thai tea which tasted great.More
We stopped into Phubs for some hot pho after our flight in from Florida. The pho was delicious, fresh, and piping hot. The meat in mine was cooked thoroughly and was tender. My wife ordered the vegan pho and also enjoyed it. I highly recommend...Phubs and will likely be back next time I’m in the area!More
We decided to try some different so we came ro Phubs. Service was good. Atmosphere was a little dark and cold. Food? Portions were plentiful, but compared to Pho I have had in the past, it appeared to have much less flavor than what I...expected. Not bad, just not memorable.More
Got some sandwiches to go for work. The pork sandwiches are so great here. Bread is amazing. This isn't the first or last time I have been here. It's great for a quick bite. The Pho here is pretty solid but the sandwiches are where...it's at!More
I went by Phubs when I was up by BWI. What a nice surprise. Great PHO and they have the only "salad bar" for PHO that I have run into. I'm always asking for extra bean sprouts. Some places charge for the extra and others...don't but you have to ask and wait. You can get all the bean sprouts, basil, cilantro and peppers that you want. My friend turned me onto PHO and I try to have it at least once a week or more. This is differently a go back. Great broth and plenty of fixings what's not to like about this place.More
On our way to BWI, we got in the mood for Vietnamese food. This place came up as a highly recommended restaurant. Well, I had chicken pho and my wife had beef. It was pretty basic stuff; certainly nothing special. It tasted ok and the...staff was friendly but it just wasn’t authentic. If this is the best Vietnamese food in the area, I’ll wait until my next trip to Houston, LA or Philly. We won’t be back...More
