We were a little frustrated after how long the wait was to be seated however it was so worth it. Food was incredible. The lobster roll was the best we had in Portland. They even made the bun gluten free. The shaved ice that came...with the scallops was so unique. Tuna crudo was so fresh and amazing. This is a must go to while in Portland.More

If you are in Portland, go to Eventide. We arrived late on a Sunday and were lucky to get a table. The lobster roll is the best in Portland. The Whoopie Pie is also excellent.

The food was acceptable. BLM signs in the windows, and the menu tells us they are taking a portion of the proceeds from oysters towards an Asian anti-hate group, which is nice...however perplexing. They also add a surcharge to help the owner pay his staff......Stop putting seaweed in the “ New England” clam chowder. I came for food; not misguided virtue signalling.More

My son wanted to go to this place as a must do, so we put our name down and were shocked to hear that there was a 3-3.5hr wait!yes it was memorial day weekend but that is still a crazy amount of time We thought...it was just a thing to say to everyone but sure enough the wait was actually that long, so we ended up going somewhere else for lunch and coming back here for an appetizer of oysters and raw scallops and a drink at 5pm!! the walk around was fun but not sure if I would wait 3 hours the next time to be honest. But it is definitely worth an hour wait! Clam chowder was gorgeous and yummy too!More

The oysters were delicious and the red wine mignonette and iced horseradish were perfect pairings. I had the fish sandwich which had a BEAUTIFUL fry. Not heavy at all. It was also perfect. The beer selection was really nice too. My friend is a vegetarian...and had the tofu sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. We split the ice cream sandwich for dessert and holy smokes that ice cream sandwich was so good! Definitely a fan of this place and will be back next time I'm in ME!More

We rated it a 4 not a 5, because lunch service to us, even though the expansive outdoor seating was almost 100% occupancy, was immediate. We placed our order of drinks and meal, and within 2 minutes our entrees came out, even our server remarking...that was quick!. My guess is we got a meal destined elsewhere. It took another 10 minutes before our drinks came out. I prefer to kick back and enjoy a drink before food arrives, at least for a few moments, preferably 15-20. It’s a pet peeve and annoying that a restaurant doesn’t allow time for guests to settle in. That being said the lobster rolls were perfect .More

I had heard a lot about Eventide prior to visiting Portland, and I am happy to say it lives up to the hype. We stopped by on a Monday afternoon at 3pm - and there was still an hour wait! Fortunately, they will take your...phone number and text you when the table is ready. I know the brown butter lobster roll gets a lot of press (and it was great), but the real standout to us was the halibut ceviche & tuna crudo. Just excellent! Great cocktails as well. Definitely try some of the crushed ices for your oysters as well- very unique! The service was very quick & efficient!More

I went to Eventide with a group. We ordered oysters with lemon pepper ice and Tabasco ice, brussel sprouts, mimosas and a lobster roll each. Then we ordered all of that again. 10/10. Delicious. Try to got at an off time because the Friday night...wait can exceed 4 hours. Great service. Delicious food. Awesome vibe. Tasty drinks. It’s a must have meal (or two) for any Portland trip.More

There is outside seating but I did not notice any dogs. The outside seating is on the city sidewalk.
