I asked our waitress for freshly Fried Southern Chicken. She said it wouldn’t be a problem that it would take extra time. I seen her talking with the her Manager ( an over weight black guy) about my request. Who must have told her I...wouldn’t know the difference if they used time as if they were really cooking it fresh. So after patiently waiting 30 minutes or so the waitress brought out our dinner. It wasn’t obvious at sight, but after that long wait the Manager decided again screwed me with greasy refried Chicken. Slidell Cracker Barrel is the worst. If you’re coming through I 10 towards New Orleans I would advise you to wait for next Cracker Barrel down the road. Besides the issue with my order, our Table Area wasn’t the cleanest and Restroom was pissy. Poor decision Mr Manager buttfaceMore

We had incredibly tentative waitress, Dedra, that made this visit to a Cracker Barrel much better than usual. Which usual is good. We had pancakes and one of the egg breakfasts, which were standard Cracker Barrel fare.

Stopped here for lunch while traveling back to Florida from a New Orleans Trip. Delicious food and great service. I can always depend on Cracker Barrel to deliver and they always do. This location is very convenient off I-10 so if you are passing through...definitely stop here for some delicious food and a browse through their awesome gift shop.More

It’s been over 30 years since we’ve been to a Cracker Barrel Restaurant since there are none near where we live. Our kids who live back East and our local friends told us to go there to eat before catching a flight at Louis Armstrong...Airport, New Orleans. We shopped in the General Store while waiting about 15 mins for a table on Sunday afternoon. We chose country fried steak and Beef Roast as our main course with some mouthwatering Fried sliced apples ( similar to but better than baked apples). Great experience brought back good memories of taking our children to CB when they were young.More

The country breakfast that I have always ordered no longer comes with a breaded chicken breasts with country gravy they have now replaced it with frozen chicken strips. I thought that they were no longer doing the chicken breasts and moved onto tenders however you...can get the chicken breasts on the dinner menu. The grits were so dry you can lift the while bowl up with a spoon. Needless to say I'm over it and I'm not going backMore

Stopped here along our route out of New Orleans and had a tasty breakfast. Our server (Iris) was welcoming and ensured that we were served quickly and with a warm smile. Food was tasty and filling.

Whether you go for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Their large menu will offer everyone something great. Great Meatloaf, Chicken and Dumplins, Grilled chicken and roast beef. Breakfasts are great here. Service is outstanding. There may be a wait time depending on the time of day...but not terrible. Lots of cool merchandise to look at while you wait. Great Family Place.More

Usually always get the Sunrise Sampler to get a taste of eggs, sausage, ham, bacon, grits, biscuits , hash browns and fried apples. Can’t ever eat it all but just love the variety!

Had breakfast here on 9/6. Had Grandpas Country Fried breakfast. Food was tasty, good portions at a good price. Service was very prompt and friendly. Clean establishment. I know its a 5 star rating, but I could not have asked for more.
