I haven’t been here in a while but I enjoyed the visit. I just wish that we would’ve known that there was live jazz we knew it was a jazz brunch we sat on the inside and we had no clue that it was going...on. Food was delicious I had the debris with grits I just had to ask for more grits because it was mostly debris. I had the Caesar salad which was chard great idea but I think that a homemade dressing touchup would’ve been a lot betterThan store-bought. Hostess was delightful and polite. My service was very attentive love that. Otherwise overall great restaurant.More

Went there to celebrate Fathers Day and so disappointing and truly horrible quality, food, and presentation. I have had better meals and service at Dennys, Waffle House, than I had today at the Brunch. Poached eggs with crab cakes were boiled with white runny and...raw not at all poached. The French Toast was uncooked and mushy runny cold and raw. Waffles were not crispy and were raw on the inside with the chicken and waffles. This use to be a good place for an upscale meal and special event but we all left disgusted and hungry. There was no ice in the ice tea, we never got refills of our beverages. The appetizers spinach dip was dried out and over heated. The alligator bites were okay. Our entrees were cold unappetizing and ill prepared. Next time we want to celebrate with a 300 dollar plus family meal we will have to search elsewhere. So sad and such a horrible experience.More

Great Service from our Waiter and the main bartender. The rest of the staff kinda snobby acting. We tried this place as it was highly recommended on other sites. It's fine but not all it's hyped up to be. Prices are slightly high for the...food you receive. We didn't have reservations but asked for a table by the water and were denied, however the people in line after us, requested the same and were seated. They were asked if they had a reservation as well and they said no. So why the preferred treatment? I can only guess that they were locals.More

From the ambience/atmosphere to the great service and really good food -- Palmetto's is a must! Lots of restaurants around BUT this one really stands out. Parking is EASY - indoor air conditioned -- outdoor has several levels and locations and the bayou helps with...over-all ambience. Saturday and Sunday brunch menus are great and there just migh be live music -- check with them before yopu make your reservation If you get NATALIE as your server -- you're extra lucky!!!More

This is a gem. Great food, great service, great location. The boudin egg rolls are delicious. The catch Pontchartrain is an amazing seafood dish. Wonderful shrimp and grits.

We were here with family and everyone had a good meal. The place is in a pretty setting...is clean.. and safe. There were 7 of us so we got several of the menu items. Everything was good. I had the shrimp and grits...a best ever...for me. We were in a side dining room...there was live music in the main dining room and conflicting recorded music in ours...my ears didn't like the noise. They were very busy...so the server was swamped but she did a fair job.More

Me and my husband decided to stop at this restaurant last minute. the food was great, service was great for the most part covid-19 precautions were there and chill we got a water refill. The guy comes with a stainless steel pitcher took my glass...I'm drinking from and the glass makes contact with pitcher's wil he's pouring water and then he goes over to another table.couldn't drink the water after I seen that to me that's spreading covid-19. Y'all need a different way of refilling water. Everything was great there other than that. I think I'll stay home now until virus calms down just to be on my safe side.More

This is my favorite place to bring out of town guests or customers. The outdoor experience is amazing. After ordering drinks, we stroll to the bayou and take in the view. Sunday has a Jazz brunch that is fantastic. The quality, variety and portions of...food are on par with any top restaurant in the area.More

We are not big buffet people because we just don't eat that much food, but the selection was amazing! The creme brulee French toast was my favorite of the breakfast offerings, but there were so many other things from which to choose. They also had...a selection of savory lunch time foods like fried shrimp/fish/chicken, gumbo, jambalaya, hushpuppies, fried pickles, etc. A bloody mary or mimosa was included with the price of the buffet. We left before the jazz musicians even got set up. It's a really beautiful location, and we plan to go back in the spring when the weather will be warm enough to sit outside. They did have heaters set up for the outside area, but it was just a cold rainy day when we were there.More
