Our table wasn't ready. They sent us upstairs where its cold and unpersonnel with nothing on the table. A waiter brought us food menu's. We asked for the drinks menu, he brought it. We ordered a bottle of wine, we waited forever and then he...just put it on the table with two glasses and walked away, without opening or pouring it. We asked 4 times can we please move to our original table, eventually we could move downstairs to another table. Then, nobody served us because the waiter upstairs thought the lady downstairs are going to serve us and vice versa. The food wasn't bad but the service was terrible!!More

Last week we tried Sir Loin for date night - starters we had garlic snails & crumbed mushrooms. I must have had a punnet of mushrooms - very big portion. Mains we both had 500g rump steaks - good quality meat & my husbands pepper...sauce was excellent. Nice booths for privacy & social distancing & Elaine our waitress was lovely.More

Good value for money, haven't been disappointed as yet, well situated. The one you will go back to since you know the service is good, the food is always tasty well presented. You choose to sit inside or outside with a view of the mountains....Nice just to pop in after work for a quick drink with a friend or take the whole familyMore

Seeing JANUWORRY was such a long month, my partner and I decided to have take out. We visit Sir Lion, which was buzzing coz its Friday evening. We dont regret coming here at all! The service was great and the food was very delicious and...not that pricey... I couldnt finish my meal only enjoyed the grilled calamari. The rest was a takeaway. Will come again to try another dish. Keep up the excellent service.More

Came for lunch with a friend. We were seated outside and our waiter Reinhart brought us menus. We took a couple of minutes to order drinks and received them, so far so good. The waiter was very unfriendly and it constantly seemed as if he...did not want to be there. A few other waiters were standing outside, laughing and joking. My friend still remarked could we not have gotten one of those instead of our one. I ordered a bacon, feta, avo pizza and my friend had the cordon bleu. Our food took incredibly long to arrive and the waiter did not bother coming back once to ask if we wanted more drinks or to explain the delay. Eventually the food arrived at the table and the waiter disappeared again. Every other table got a basket with various sauces and salt and pepper in (it seemed to be standard) however we only got salt and pepper. The waiter was gone before we had a chance to say anything. The pizza was nice but the avo was disgusting. It was black as opposed to green, again every other pizza around us had fresh avo I dont know why I received black avo. The cordon bleu was tasty but had about a tablespoon of mushroom sauce on it, if that much at all. Ordered a baked potato with my food which was ice cold. That coupled with the bad service makes me reluctant to ever want to go back again.More

What was planned to be a special evening with my wife and son, turned out to be a disaster. 1. Poor reception on arrival. 2. Inexperienced waitress, expected us to pour our own wine, then after realizing its her responsibility to do so, pored wine...for our under age son, spilling in the process and expecting us to clean the table. Her excuse was she doesn’t know what she is doing there and does not like her work. Then she made a comment on her tips being influenced by a new app. 3. Waited 45min for starters. 4. When main course arrived, Feta in salad even though due to Dairy intolerance, my wife specifically requested no dairy. 5. Although I attempted to eat my steak pretending not to complain, my son kept on telling me it was rare and still running around even though I ordered medium rare. 6. Wine list is impractical, choice of one red wine by glass, yet there are three rosé’s. 7. No effort made my management team, we will never return ever to this establishment and do not under any circumstances recommend such to anyone. Please note this is the 4th time we have had poor service from them, enough is enough!More

Our overall experience at Sir Loin is really good. They have a good variety and there is something for everyone. The service is good and the food quality is really good. They are a bit more expensive than a few similar restaurants but you really...do get what you pay for.More

We had heard of Sir Loin but never been so thought we would give it a try. The place itself is mediocre in decor, tables fairly close together and, whilst the waitrons were all friendly, the service left a lot to be desired. We must...have waited a good 20 minutes or so before anyone came to take our order & then going on another 30 to 45 minutes before the meal arrived at the table. I chose the pork chops which I found to be over-cooked as they were quite tough & had far too much marinade on. Others had steak & ribs & here again, some of the steak was rather 'chewy' & not cooked as had been ordered. We didn't complain as we weren't prepared to wait perhaps another hour for the food to arrive back at our table. I know you can't please all of the people all of the time & maybe we were just unlucky, but this was a first & last visit for our group. Hopefully their Chef will read this review.More

We really enjoyed our steaks. The waiter delivered excellent service. The ambiance in the restaurant is very nice. SIR LOIN has a bar area as well and that part of the restaurant rocks....
