I would avoid this restaurant. There are better options in Chinatown. This service here is very poor and non-attentive. We aren't sure if we even had a server while we were there. The ordering process is very confusing and it's almost all on your own....The food is poor and not fresh.More

The food was good at the staff was kind. I’m Asian and the food was Chinese and not American Chinese. Pretty good place for a Chinese food.

A worker at our hotel recommended this as a good restaurant in Chinatown and they were right. The food was very good. It tasted and looked great. And the portion size, oh my, it was huge. Two plates fed three men and we still had...leftovers. Ordering on iPads that you hand to the wait staff made the process easy as you could see info about the food easy. Service was fast. Prices are reasonable, especially for the portion sizes. Definitely would recommend if you are in Chinatown.More

Great dim sum, thanks reviewers for steering us here! We stopped for lunch on a day trip into the city and as reviewers have noted, seating and service is rapid on a weekday and we readily found street parking within two blocks. The staff is...gracious and welcoming. On weekdays you order entrees from a tablet and dim sum from a printed sheet but dim sum items will arrive to your table by cart.More

We visited the MingHin restaurant on Ohio street (Streeterville). HIGHLY recommend. We made dinner out of dim sum with a side of pork belly. The service was fantastic and the food even better. The atmosphere is quite and lovely.

Four friends attending a conference nearby went to this restaurant in Chinatown for a fantastic meal. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had four main courses and a few dim sum to choose from. The fried rice dishes were excellent. The service was very friendly.

The dim sum was outstanding! Very quick service. They sat us quickly and brought out our food quickly and hot. The bean sauce and hot chili oil at the table was icing on the cake

Wonderful dim sum. Deep fried shrimp rolls and pork buns were especially exceptional. Main dishes were also very good, and condiments including chili sauce were provided without having to request them. The one less than bright spot was the soups, which lacked flavor - astral...difference from the rest of the meal.More

This is truly authentic Chinese Food. Fresh vegetables, cooked just right ( not overcooked) and an excellent mild sauce. Taste great with many healthy options. There are numerous MingHin in Chicago area and suburbs and they are all top-notch, the best! Delicious, healthy and authentic....However if you want, there are other items on the menu more American style Chinese which is also great, just not as healthy.More

We were very disappointed in the dim sum here. They do have a very nice variety of items you order off a menu but they are just ok. When I read about their Michelin worthiness I was excited to try them but didn’t find any...of the food that could or should be Michelin awarded! Food was good but not great. Many things were amiss and it wasn’t just the food. The table was dirty. The teapot brought to the table had brown stuff caked on the side of the outside. The restaurant had a weird smell too. I was embarrassed as I had hyped this place up to the person I was bringing here. I was totally disappointed and kind of embarrassed. You order the dim sum and they bring it to the table vs the cart system. I’ll go back to my reliable dim sum restaurant standby; Phoenix!More

We ate at the Ohio Street location that does not seem to be listed in TripAdvisor. It is a large restaurant and nicely decorated. Service is very friendly and fast. Food is great and prices seem in line with a large city downtown. The menu...is large and you order from a tablet, although they have paper menus. I would return. The only drawback is the noise level, even though the room was not full. It was hard to carry on a conversation with the person next to me.More

Got here for breakfast. The restaurant is nicely decorated. We ordered congee, fried pork dumpling, sesame ball, fried potstickle and pork short ribs honey sauce. All tasted great, and the short ribs was the best. The food was even better than dimsum in Indonesia, which...came to my surprise.More

This was definitely authentic Chinese food. The pot stickers and crab Rangoon were excellent. I wish we had a clue on ordering...the four of us each chose an entree...literally enough food for 10 people. We should have ordered two entrees to share. Loved the sesame...chicken and shrimp and fried noodle dish..don't remember the name. Only complaint was didn't love the atmosphere, very loud and bright! Super busy and it was a Tuesday night! Staff running around like crazy adding to the somewhat frantic atmosphere. Other than that, food was excellent!More
