We have enjoyed the Fainting Goat many times. We generally stop in for lunch once or twice a week during ski season. The pasta, pizza and gourmet grilled cheese are always a hit and the beer list usually has something interesting to try. Can't go wrong here.

So welcoming and they were happy to share the history of the building with us. We each had a different glass of wine served in the proper Riedel wine glass. We shared the mozzarella lightly fried skewers and they were delicious. The outdoor patio was beautiful! Definitely recommend!!!

The service is absolutely excellent! We were presented with our own jugs of water and glasses, and the food tasted wonderful as well. We ordered a basket of seasoned fries as a snack after a long walk around Wallace. The local pizza place was closed, as were most businesses on Sunday, so The Fainting Goat was one of the only places to eat available. The setting was nice and clean, with nice decoration.

After a long day of travel, we wanted a good meal and a place where we could bring the dog. We sat at the outside tables and misread the menu. When the pizza arrived, it was not what we expected. Our server said "No problem" and brought us a different pizza even though the wrong order was our fault. The food was great, but even better was the understanding, helpful staff.

Wonderful food, wonderful staff, great location with the best outdoor seating area I’ve ever been to. Keep up the good work as places like this are very hard to come by anywhere today! These people care about creating a great dining experience whether you’re a tourist who they’ll likely never see again or a local. Thank you, thank you!

The gals and I often choose fainting goat because it doesn’t disappoint. I most often order the Thai pizza because it is by far and above the best pizza I ever had. Someday I might order a pasta dish because my girlfriends usually get that and exclaim how good they are but for right now I’m really happy with the Thai pizza.

My husband and I split a 4 cheese pizza with ground bison and mushrooms. We also split an arugula and spinach salad and lemon gelato for dessert. Everything was delicious! And Madi was a pleasant, informative server. Highly recommend!!

What a great experience 100%! The moment I walked in tired, hungry and dirty from a day of hiking I was met with smiling faces! Everyone throughout the whole time smiled! I felt very welcomed; ice water came right away and service was prompt! I had the french onion soup and grilled chicken buffalo salad! The chicken was warm and so moist - absolutely delicious meal! I am staying in MT just 22 miles away - I will be back!!

We stopped in early and had a lovely table at the window. We ate two pastas - baked ziti with a sausage and tomato sauce and a lemon artichoke ziti. Both wonderful. Will gladly recommend the Fainting Goat and will definitely come here again.

Food focus in limited selection of pizza, pastas and salads....all excellent. Some outside seating, Inside about half of tables use high bar style seats that old clients usually avail. Recently changed hours to be closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The wine dispensing revolving selection server is unusual. Works well once you learn how to use it. Great for lunch as well as dinner. Currently closes at 8:00 PM. I live in Wallace during the summer, and eat here at least once each week. That good, and food priced reasonably for quality and service.

We loved the food, beer, and service at the Fainting Goat. The interior is characteristic, and the outside patio nicely shaded. We sampled several tap beers—really enjoyed a Scottish ale and a huckleberry wheat. The Cajun pasta dish was so good, we came back the next day and ordered it again. The owners and staff were attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Service was very good. It offers a decent menu and reasonable prices. We had cheesy bread, spinach salad with pilled chicken, and baked ziti with sausage. Presentation was very good. Portions were ample.

Modern interior with brick & interesting decor, an AMAZING display of digital dispensed wine! We had burnt ends Mac n cheese, onion rings, chartcuterie board & chicken parm panini. All 4 of us loved the food. They have $1.25 small tasting pours if you want to try different wines

We stopped here for dinner at the recommendation of two local residents. The restaurant is in a historic building, the staff was very friendly, the food very good. They also have a very good selection of wines and ales. One of us had the Chicken Parm Panini and the other the oven baked ziti. Both were very good, as was the chocolate bundt cake dessert. The prices were reasonable. We would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
