Cafeteria Food

We decided to try out the local eating establishment at Silver Mountain Resort where we were staying. Average service and average food. The side salad I ordered was more than adequate for $5.00. The salmon dinner was average. We felt like we were at a cafeteria. The presentation of food and taste was very cafeteria like. The salmon was over cooked and the chicken bland. Service was average.

Busy but good beer

We ate here on a Tuesday evening. The bartender was also the waiter, and had several tables and the bar to handle, but did a good job handling the traffic. He allowed us to come in with a frozen yogurt we had bought nearby. We had a local craft Scotch ale that was excellent, and a chicken bacon ranch flatbread that was quite good. There was a mix of ages in the bar, and we didn't feel rushed at all.

We ate here upon our arrival to the resort. We were sat quickly and our waitress really did try hard to serve us well. However, no silverware or napkins were given to us, we had to ask for those after our food arrived. Food was good, nothing exceptional for the price. The fries were good and hot and the children’s chicken skewers were good. We had no desire to return here, not horrible but not excellent either.

Pile of mush and dry burgers

I ordered salmon with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes and my kids ordered the black and blue burger. The “seasonal veggies” were a pile of mushy Lima beans and carrots and the burgers were dry and tasteless. Beer was good. The worst $150 dinner I’ve ever had.

Unsafe food handling

So arrived here with some clients for lunch outside . Had been here previously meaning a few weeks ago with other clients . We had sent out food back because it was not cooked right and cold so we left This time some clients that are staying at the resort wanted to meet for lunch . My burger was cold and they also sent their food back What was super unsafe is it was 100 degrees outside and there was mayo is containers just sitting outside So bad When I told them about it the young girl just gave me a blank stare Never again Stay away !

Unremarkable Start to a resort visit

15 minutes to receive drinks, a bar order drink (whiskey and coke) never did arrive. Food was drowning in garlic and cold. Understaffed? Only explanation for being so ignored. We were ready for a vacation getaway...tough start to that. Would rather have had Subway in our condo.

Sub Par for a resort eatery

Just had a burger and a glass of wine. They were out of the wine I asked for on the menu, but had a credible substitute. The burger had a gf bun as requested that would make a decent frisbee. Otherwise it was fine,and in fact the pickle was unusually good. The accompanying fries were pretty bad, as if coated with sugar salt and cheese. The ambience was sports bar with an overlay of country music. The fireside sofa was nice, but otherwise, all was generic. Server was friendly and the wait for food was not long. So this is passable but unremarkable. Attached to a ski resort base where the nightly rate is typically in the $200s , this does not make a splash. Go next door to the water park for that.

Overpriced, so so quality

When meal arrived some members of our group had cold food, french dip was not great and meat tough. Hamburgers were pretty pink in the middle. Fries were great and Poutine appetizer was excellent.

Food is good. Whatnto expect from a ski resort?

We had poutine, tacos and fettuccine alfredo. The poutine was the best that I have had in Idaho (the only place I have had it here). It is not like something you'd have in Canada, but then you probably can't go to Canada at the time of this writing. They use fried curds, standard fries with standard beef gravy and real bacon pieces. The street tacos were decent, nothing to write home about, but my son liked them (13 year old). The fettuccine had blackened chicken. It was fine, but also nothing special and once again, my son liked it. The service was amazing, fast service. Mind you, we went in before the weekend rush.

Delicious food!

We were recommended this place by the desk clerk at our hotel across the street and had a pleasant experience. The service was a bit slow, but we weren’t in a hurry and lingered to enjoy our drinks. The food was delicious. We had the Cajun chicken fettuccine and the Tuscan chicken...both were delicious. The breadsticks were yum! It hit the spot.

A fun visit

We were treated amazing. Billy the cook went off the menu for us. He made a tortellini that our group loved. 5 star dish. We would love for this to be added to the menu. We had to meet the cook because of this.. I am so surprised and happy. I only hope that I can order blacken chicken tortilli next time we visit . The Bartender Kat was also amazing, and very sweet. I absolutely loved the friendliest and amazing hospitality. My husband and I have grown to love Noah's. We will bring our friends here.

excellent food Yum

I recently had a lunch and two dinners in their outdoor seating in the last month! The blackened fish taco's were delicious! I also had the signature salad for lunch it is outstanding! and most recently ordered the blue crab mac and cheese. Very good. Portions are big with all their meals. I usually take some home. I am thoroughly impressed with all my meals! Kudos to the chef! Also glad to see the servers wearing masks. Servers friendly and attentive. Excellent experience.

Great service and wonderful food

My family and I over 15 years have stopped at Noah's Canteen. We have had nothing but excellent service. We are looking forward to going there and just enjoy the atmosphere. Always a wonderful place to stop at while traveling. Thank you for great times and service.

Nice looking place

We stopped here for a comfort break on our long road trip. Kellogg is obviously a skiing resort so it was understandably not very busy when we arrived. We had a fun game of table tennis immediately outside before going in for a drink. Strangely the air con was blasting away while a huge log fire burned - it looked good though. The service was fine (we only had one drink before heading off) and the restrooms were clean.

I was here multiple times as this is one of the few restaurants at Silver Mountain Resort. The first time I came in was for a late lunch with my children. The bar server barely said two words the entire time and the pork tacos offered tasted absolutely horrible. I came back 2-additional times trying various items on the menu. The second time was better. The third time was even worse than the first. My children's corn dogs and fries were burnt and the hamburger I wanted to throw in the trash. Would not recommend nor go back to Silver Mountain due to the poor food choices.
