Delicious food - friendly staff- rustic setting. Visited during a family outing, after seeing the Old Mission. We were chilled to the bone, so were very happy that hot tea was on the menu! The special of the day was delicious, also soup of the day and the Ruben - all cooked with care. Will definitely return !

At first look I thought this was going to be a divy, greasy roadside joint. Boy was I surprised! Immaculately clean and updated inside and a varied, tasty menu. A friend had a burger with jalepeno poppers on it that he said was awesome! I love fries, so I tried all three kinds. They have hand cut, crinkle cut, and curly. My favorite were the hand cut because I love real potatoes and a fresh potato taste. Their house made sauces are what make the fried stand out. We tried them all and we all had different favorites; it just depends on your personal taste. Try Timbers! You will be pleasantly surprised!

I have always loved this restaurant as The Owl Tavern, the Mission Inn, and the Timbers. There was live music when I was quite young on weekends and Tom Snyder was always behind the bar.(until 1976) I remember when someone paid him with silver dollars he would toss them into a bucket under the counter and when he had $3000 he went to CDA and bought a new car. There were usually two poker tables just N. of the back door. I have quit skiing now so I am not stopping as often. The food has always been very good.

Great place! Menu has great options for everyone. French fries, onion rings were awesome. Patty melt grilled to perfection. Our service was wonderful. Very clean restaurant. This was my first time- certainly not my last.

My hiking group from Coeur d'alene, Idaho walked 5 miles on the Trail of the Coeur d'alene's and afterwards, we went to Timbers Roadhouse for lunch. There were about 10 of us around a big table. It was on a Thursday last spring sometime. The food and service at the Timbers was excellent.

Food was outstanding. Yum salad. Ribeye steak perfect. Server was busy and yet gave us excellent service. Music was a bit loud but of quality.

We happened upon this place on accident. Great food especially the soup. Beer was ice cold with a big selection. Very clean and great service. Can’t wait to return.

We took a random drive not to anyplace specific and ran across this place. We are happy that we did! The food was fresh and delicious! The staff was attentive. Even though they had a large party (about 12 people) come in just before us, we did not feel left out! And did not have to wait for anything! Always a plus! We are definitely going to eat here again!

Good place to stop for food or drink while riding the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes. Outdoor seating and no worries about leaving bikes unattended while eating and drinking.

We decided to catch some lunch here before getting on the Coeur D'Alene bike trail. It didn't look like much so our expectations weren't high. We ordered sandwiches (don't remember which ones) but they were both delicious and HUGE! We could only eat half so saved the other half for lunch the next day. We went back for a beer after our ride and also enjoyed it so much. Nice people, sandwiches are great! Great stop if you are hopping on the trail in Cataldo.

When my wife and I were driving to Missoula, we got hungry for lunch outside of Coeur d'Alene. It's slightly remote on that stretch of I-90 and we stumbled onto Timbers Roadhouse. The area is pretty simple, but inside, Timbers looked to be freshly remodeled and we were glad we stopped! The menu is large and so are the portions. My wife enjoyed the beef chimichanga and I had the bacon, pepper jack cheeseburger with hand-cut fries. Both were nicely prepared and super tasty!! Great place to stop for a bit and drink if you are in the area. Note, their bathrooms are clean, but small and intended for customers only since there are outside restroom facilities for hikers, campers, etc..Of course, there were rude idiots who just stopped in to use Timbers restrooms and purchased nothing!!!
