Very very old food, run when you see this restaurant. Also, the staff are unpleasant to take your orders.
The food was good, not exceptional. We recommend Papanasi for desert, they are special here (they have cheese inside and a subtle taste of rum; you don’t find this extra touch in Bucharest :))). The stuff is nice.
The restaurant towards the slope was outdated and food was bad too. Receptionists were sometimes hard to find, there was a phone number displayed where you could call them. Cleaning was also scarce. Too bad for such a good positioned hotel. Otherwise nice.
The rooms are old furnished but ok. The food I think I never had worst than this! Everything is tasteless and very expensive!
It was dark but i suspect the views would be good in the daylight. Food was fine but nothing amazing.
In the middle of that wonderful natural scenery, there is this hotel, a family-business from what I have seen, that tops the beauties around it. Why? One can easily notice an artistic complete format used all over the interiors, details on thr elevator doors, Secession...and Klimt impressions, hand made furniture, ceilings used for eye-artistic-relaxation. In one world, a great & complete vision. Usually, one finds this details on a large scale hotel business. And the service is so open and warm hearted. I wish all three stars hotels were like this! Congrats to the owners / management!More
Waited for 10' to order and then another 20' to get the soup. And it was'nt busy at all. Time 15.00h in the afternoon. Bad service.
I didnt stay in this hotel, there no rooms available but the hotel and grounds were very nice. The reason I am writing this is to advise people that the owner was a good man to me. He felt sorry for me not able to...find a room for the night (it was late and I was tired) and he grabbed the phone and called a few other hotels around looking for a room and telling everybody that a friend of his came from Canada and wants a nice room. After three calls he located one room for me, 200 meters North of this hotel. I would have never found that place as it is on a steep hill not right by the street. Thank you. :)More
we stayed one night at this hotel in our way to Transalpina Highway. A great hotel, good price for this accomodation, I like the style, a vintage and modern style very well mixed. Great night sleep, the sheets were confortable, the bathroom spotless and view...was great. The food it was great. The staff very friendly.More
