Had cod fish and chips ....was very good bought a pie for dinner later. The atmosphere was very sterile.... I was expecting some British atmosphere but non to be had

This place never fails to please. From opening the door, we are always greeted with a cheery “hello” The staff always go above and beyond with their customer service. We love the fish and chips, cooked to perfection every time. My husband is a true...Steak and Kidney pie man so he usually has that. The dining area always squeaky clean. We never ever leave without a bag full of goodies and English bread to take home. We absolutely love this place and well worth the extra drive past two other british stores on the way! 10/10 from our family every time!More

Our friends were visiting from London so we decided to take them to pick up dinner here. We had never been here ourselves but had heard excellent things about it. My wife and I loved it but more importantly the “experts” coming from 4000 miles...away loved their dinner. I had the large cod and chips (huge portion) while my wife had a steak pie. One of our friends had the sausage and the other haddock and chips. As you can see the menu has a wide variety of English specialties. The store also had a nice variety of English products for sale from baked beans, to marmite (no idea what that is 😉) to English chocolates. You can take out or dine in. If you enjoy English foods definitely check this place out.More

A friend told me that they took over next-door it used to be just a takeout you can sit down now and eat I have not been there for a long time and to be honest I wish I never went this time I decided...I would have the fish and chips I felt sick for a day afterwards the chips was OK but the fish was just fried with no batter I know can you believe it it was just fried dry fish I was having trouble cutting it some guy come around I think he was the chef asking if everything was OK but he walked by me so quick but I really wish out of complain to him there and then if he cook this food it was terrible I would not go back and I would never recommend this place also the welcome was ridiculous to young people too busy on their phones chatting don’t botherMore

First impressions from the outside weren’t great, a strong smell of greasy fat from the fryer. Second impressions worse, ‘choose the pie you want from the fridge’ No gravy ‘we are closed most of next week (it was Saturday lunchtime)’ Pie was microwaved, steak inside...was very tough Chips overcooked Overall, 40 dollars wasted & so disappointed as we are on holiday over 3 weeks we wanted a break away from fried chicken & burgers .More

Nothing special to report here. Zero atmosphere. Strong frying oil odor. Very small selection of British goods for sale. Fish was decent but not anything to get excited about. Pricey. But very friendly guys working the counter. Not in any rush to return.More

I had the vegetable curry pie and my wife the steak, potato, onion and cheese pie. They were both delicious. Friendly service. The pies are refrigerated, as they prepare them beforehand, though not cooked, so that they can be served fresh in a reasonable time...(10-12 minutes). We will be back for pies again, as well as try the fish and chips and desserts. Seating is limited, but most of the service is takeout.More
