Wanted to try the crab cakes, since they are always voted best in OCMD. It was ok, I prefer the crab cakes at Coins Pub. What really turned me off to this place is the extra charge for a baked potato. The crab cake platter includes one crab cake and two sides for $22. Sides are the usual fries, Cole slaw, starch of the day, vegetable. However, if you want a baked potato it is an extra $3. Really????!!! My husband and I go out to dinner every day when we are at our condo in OC and have never seen an up charge for a baked potato. I will say that the zucchini side was the best item on my plate.

First I do want to say that please keep in mind good crab cakes that are made right with lump crab meat is not a cheap product for a restaurant to buy so in turn they will need to charge you a fair price for a good crab cake. That being said you will pay 19.00 for a six ounce almost all lump crabs cake and fries. But it is a really good crab cake. Drinks were priced well at 8.00 for a crush drink that was fairly good with alcohol. I did think an upgrade to a salad as side at 3.00 was a bit much. It was a small bowl and I mean small. My son has the crab melt and it looked great and he said it was great. Our view was amazing as the sun was setting. A bit hot in the patio but worth the sunset. If you are hungry I strongly suggest ordering an appetizer like the crab dip or basket of fried shrimp or the crab fries and then decide if you want a crab cake dinner. You may experience enough crab in the varied apps that you don’t even want dinner. Anyway it’s a good place to get a crab cake.

on the last day of our trip we went here for "brunch". The place is lovely, on the bay/ marsh with a nice view (many birds) . The staff (waitress and bartender) were here last year too. we ordered 2 types of Eggs Benedict, one regular with Canadian bacon, egg and hollandaise sauce, and one topped by a lot of delicious lump crabmeat. Absolutely wonderful ! We also ordered one of the liter sized special bloody Mary to share...it was topped with bacon strips, a sugarcane skewer of steamed shrimp ,celery. spicy pickled green beans. a pile of lump crabmeat topped by a cherry tomato !!!!! fantabulous ! for dessert we had tender fresh-made Beignets and coffee...we'll be back next year

We have been to this restaurant many times in the past and for the most part have had good food and service. We actually bought gift certificates at a discount for our own use because we knew we would continue to be regular customers. It had been about 8 months since are last visit when we decided to go back today for supper. We were taken to a table by the bar directly underneath a speaker. The music was so loud we had trouble talking to each other. We asked to be moved but were told the only other table available was on a lower floor away from any atmosphere. We were perplexed by this because we could see there were many open tables on the opposite side of the room. We reluctantly decided to stay at the table we had been given. As we ate we watched all of the other tables fill up with customers. Still don't know why we couldn't be moved. When we ordered I told the waiter that I wanted the prime rib medium rare. He said the options may be limited due to the choices of the previous customers as they had already made their selections. I said fine, if there is no medium rare available, I'd make another selection. He said no problem and would make sure to check what was available and bring me medium rare if he could. Well, my meal arrived and it was not medium rare, it was well done. I returned it and it was replaced by another piece of prime rib that was medium at best. I just shrugged my shoulders and ate it. Unfortunately, it was bland and didn't have much flavor. My wife and I also got crabcakes which had always been very good in the past. Not tonight. They were mushy and had more filler than in the past. Just didn't taste good. The food in general was served lukewarm to barely heated. The mashed potatoes were dry and hard. Service was also not the best. We ordered water with our other beverages and never got it. Only after we requested it 3 more times did we receive it. Not sure if we will ever be coming back.

So living in this area I need to tell you this is an absolute hit or miss! The hostess staff are poorly trained, that said the server was polite but unsure about the menu! We had the chicken wings 2 orders of 10 different sauces here is where it got interesting! All 20 wings were deep fried and definitely over cooked so then they put cold bbq sauce on one and another store bought on the other! The wings absolutely sucked so while dining our table close by complained the over priced crab cakes were still frozen in the middle... sad to say this place sucked today. The crushes were not great either... out of here

This is our first time here for lunch with my family of 7. The place was hopping when we arrived without a reservation, but we were lucky to get seated at a high top table overlooking the bar and the bay. They claim the world’s famous bloody mary’s. I enjoyed my two bloody mary’s with 5 sugarcane shrimps on a skewer and green beans for $16.50 each. We shared and enjoyed the pretzel crabby appetizer for $16. I also enjoyed my justa 5 ounce traditional jumbo lump crab cake for $19, which was only a 5 ounce crab cake on a plate with no bun or side. Expensive crab cake? My total bill was $182 less gratuities. Our mature server Mary Z. was most effective in serving our large table with two children. My family also enjoyed their lunches. We all agreed we will return here again for more bloody mary’s and their delicious crab dishes.

As you can see from my last review, this was my second time here with my family of four to eat lunch with two children. I started with their famous shrimp bloody mary for $18, which I also enjoyed last time. I also enjoyed my blackened shrimp tacos for $18 this visit. The kids enjoyed their kids fish for $8 and the kids chicken tenders also for $8. James S. served our table well. My total bill was $80 less gratuities. We agreed we will continue to return here for more bloody mary lunches.

Perfect post-voting lunch, with a view. Amber(lily) was an excellent server and brought our food piping hot and drinks ice cold. Husband got the crab cake grilled cheese sandwich (it has a name but I don’t remember what), I went with a standard crab cake sandwich. CCFBS never disappoints.

Had been a couple times before was ok. Today I guess bad menu choices were made crab tacos, where was the crab ? Price was real high for may be 1 ounce of crab in three tacos $18 the clam strips were tough, the blue berry cheese cake dry. the best think we ordered was maryland crab soup. We eat out often but will go elsewhere next time. our server was excellent. very loud hard to talk. I guess city people dont care about food quality, but we do

This is far and above our favorite restaurant every time we come to Ocean City, MD. We have been eating at the Bayside location for many years and have yet to have anything but an exceptional experience. We were able to visit twice this year and both times were phenomenal. We always ask for Mary but this past Saturday she wasn’t available and we got Jackie (hope I spelled it correctly). I was nervous as Mary takes great care of us and I was unsure how our experience would be without her. Jackie knocked it out of the park. I would highly recommend Jackie anytime Mary is not available. We come here so often that now everyone has their favorites on the menu. From the Lump Skillet (my favorite) to the chipped beef and beignets there is nothing on the menu that will disappoint. And the drinks! The bartenders don’t play around. The bloody Mary’s are legendary and the Orange Crushes are the best in town. We will never come to town without stopping in. Thanks for being part of our vacation tradition.

The Bloody Mary was spicy and yummy, I only ordered a regular, but saw the specialty ones go by to other tables, they looked yummy as well. The crab dip was very cheesy, not much crab in my opinion, it was served nicely in a bread bowl, the bread was yummy, it could have been hotter though. The crab cakes were absolutely delicious, huge chucks of lump meat crab and not a ton of filling, perfect!! Definitely a return trip in the future.

We had wanted to visit a neighboring restaurant for lunch, but despite their website stating they would be open, they were not. So we decided to give this place a try. They were still serving breakfast at 11:30AM, but there were still crabcakes on the menu, so that was fine with us. Service was efficient, the food was okay. I did enjoy my crab cake Benedict . The crab cake was a nice mound of lump crab with hardly any filler. The other breakfast items were nothing special so if we ever go back, it will be for the crabcakes.

Great food, crab cakes & fish tacos were excelent as was the shaved beef sandwitch. Wonderful desert, fried donuts with sauces. Staf was friendly and everyone practiced social distancing and all wore masks.

We have been to the next door restaurant after living in the area for a few months and finally tried Crabcake Factory. We went for dinner. Great service and we loved the crab cakes and coleslaw. The French fries tasted fresh cut. Great view. Drinks were excellent- we got crushes. They were not weak! The music playing in background was classic rock. We loved it so much we went the next morning for breakfast. Again great food - quick and tasty eggs bacon and hash browns. Service very good again. Music was playing Eagles greatest hits. Nice mellow morning music. Got seated again with great view of the marsh. It’s a rustic place , not fancy. Lots of signs about drinking and it’s a big bar already open in the am when we went - definitely a place we will bring friends sometime. It’s a new favorite in Fenwick area!

We were in town for our annual beach trip. My brother and family were finishing their trip so we met for dinner there on a Sunday night. Did not have a wait even though it was fairly crowded. They have the best crab cakes at the beach. Most of us got crab cakes but got chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese for the kids. Also got a crab dip and pretzels with cheese dip both very good. Was disappointed with orange crushes this time were too weak. But everything else was very good.
