A mixed group of us expats & locals were here for a casual dinner. The food was delish, the service decently fast and servers very courteous.
Just the kind of outing we all were expecting and were overall happy with everything. Thanks Rasoi!!
We have eaten here twice and on both occasions we have been more than happy with the food.
The chicken samosa is really really good
The curry's have all been tasty, and spicy without always being hot.
Naan and paratha's very nice.
I can only...recommend them.More
Friendly and professional service, but food was uninspired, from breathtakingly (and unnecessarily) hot poppodums with a very naff pickle selection, to boring tikka chicken bites and hopeless breads. Nice people but we certainly would not return, not least because access is so difficult for anyone...with (even slightly) restricted mobility.More
We were told by friends that Raasoie was better than another Indian resturant which we use for take aways in PE so we decided to give it a try. The experience was very poor the food was very bland and we were all disappointed. It...may be acceptable to pay their high prices when you are looking out at the ocean from the window but in terms of take away the price is very high.
Overall we were very underwelmed and are very unlikley to go back!!More
Such a great experience in Raasoie! Great wine, excellent service and the food was fantastic! Great portions and so tasty! I know I will be craving this amazing food when I leave Port Elizabeth, highly recommend!
I was invited there. The decoration old and needed refurbishment.
The food majorly was not anything special.
Their starter was very spicy.
Their lentils was nice
Fish tandoori very spicy
In whole a very normal restaurant
Being keen curry-enthusiasts and having been to India specifically for its spicy and tasty cuisine, this is certainly our go-to place for a super-tasty comfort meal packed with authentic North Indian flavors.
There is a vast variety of curries, as there are in India, each...(thankfully) with an explanation of its origins, enough to satisfy the fussiest of eaters!
Although every protein, barring pork and duck, are on the menu, I would highly recommend the vegetarian menu. In true Indian style, they are unequivocally the masters of Vegetarian cuisine, with the perfect balance of taste and spice.
Having followed this restaurant from its origins in McAdams Street, they have done themselves justice in relocating to this most recent venue, overlooking PE's beautiful beachfront, and on the rare windless occasion in PE, one can enjoy the heat of a good authentic curry, while simultaneously reminisce the sights and sounds of India.More
