What a delicious find while traveling through Paonia. The service was top notch; the food was incredibly good (and way under priced in our opinion); and the desserts - wow! If this cute place was in my backyard, I'd eat there as often as my...waistline would allow me to!More

Tonight the Living farm has allowed us to enjoy a wonderful nigh out for the first time since restaurants reopened. We felt comfortable thanks to the good safety measures, which allowed us to fully appreciate the fresh taste of the ingredients in the wonderfully tasty...dishes. What a treat!More

Everything at Living Farm Cafe is farm-to-table, and the freshness is instantly recognizable in the crisp taste of most items on the menu. Don’t pass up the chance to sample the restaurant’s deliciously sour fried green tomatoes, an addictive guilt pleasure. We both tried out...the house pastas for dinner. The tomato gnocchi primavera had an excellent texture, while the pesto pasta was just on the right side of al dente, and the cream sauce light rather than too heavy. Covid-19 restrictions have made the outdoor terrace the preferred setting. Our excellent server, Tracy, encouraged us to order our meal up front with wine and appetizers to avoid any delays in the kitchen, to good effect!More

We ate at the Living Farm Cafe twice - for dinner and for breakfast! The farm to table food is delicious and superbly prepared. The menu is inclusive of many choices to meet the needs of varied diets. Dinner was grand and breakfast was enough...food for an entire day! We travel to Paonia and Hotchkiss every fall to purchase apples and plan to return to this great restaurant.More

Great food, great service, wonderful atmosphere! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone traveling to Paonia. Besides a great meal, they have a nice selection of gifts crafted by local artists.

Located at the end of Paonia’s picturesque three block long downtown main drag, this place features a nice deck as well as intimate seating inside an older house. We chose the latter. The green chili with pork was remarkable. The fried green tomatoes were unique....We were told that they pickle them before breading and frying. My patty melt was a large juicy patty with nicely fried onions, though the marbled rye was a bit dry and hard like it was more baked than grilled. Service was very good though it was a bit of a battle to get the quantity of ketchup I wanted.More

We ate at this restaurant over the Labor Day weekend. When the weather is nice, it is a wonderful place to sit outside on the patio. Food is delicious. My wife had mac and cheese and I had the striped bass with gnocchi and veggies....Decor inside is simple, inside is farmhouse chic. Outdoor patio is on a deck, very casual with trees next to us. This is our second time here and the only suggestion is to expand the menu choices. It is a bit limited. For example, offering roasted chicken for dinner makes good sense for the type of restaurant this is. Instead, the choice is a breaded sesame chicken or a grilled chicken sandwich. You can order lunch items for dinner as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are staying in Paonia.More

We had a late lunch here on a Friday in July around 2:00 PM. It was busy but not crowded. Lunch was fresh and delicious. $32 plus tip for 2 people with non-alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend. Will return if in the area.
